From the "Looping fix" discussion thread (http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/27843), I got the impression that the looping fix introduced one new rule: After you go solo, your party is restricted until you go down the elevator. Then you can invite anyone you want.
But there seems to be more to it - the original party is affected by the solo action as well. Last night my guild mates and I found out that when someone goes solo, the original party cannot refill the empty slot until next floor. (We had 1 person alone at terminal, 5 people waiting to join. We wanted to create two full parties at terminal)
I would like OOO to clearly spell out the rules of solo/kick/join/invite, so we can know for sure how things work and not get surprised.
Today I went solo at D10, Dark City or something because some of my friend would like to join me and my current party is full. I went solo right after going down the elevator. My friend, like normal, joined me as I invited and some even random guys also joined.
I don't see any different.
Maybe it only affects arena level?
