Accessories Aren't Compatible with Anything

I've had my hands on several accessories so far, some of which I've put a great deal of time money into acquiring. Now I find that none of them are compatible with my helmet or armor, the Nameless set. What's the deal with that?

I mean, I can't put a canteen... on a poncho. Putting aside the fact that they're probably little robots and shouldn't be drinking from canteens, isn't a PONCHO the most fitting place for a CANTEEN to be?

I don't see any reason for this. The item looks like it would overlay fine with the armor. Somebody explain this to me... why is there no system for warning you when you're about to blow a bunch of money on incompatible garbarge? Or at least a system that lets you check in the first place?

There is a system. The icon of the accessory shows where it goes, and the icons in the piece of gear show where it can hold accessories.

The reason why.

You see, the location of where each accessory goes isn't specified for each armor/helm, but rather it is the same for all armors/helms. Some slots are not available for that specific armor/helm to prevent *most* of the clipping. A lot of accessory clipping still exists, such as Side Blade with Wolver Coat series (clips into the pouch on the back), but try imagining a Nameless hat with a headband, massive clipping comes to my mind.

canteens and chromalisks

See i found one guy that combined a canteen with a chromalisk helm and... his big lizard toung was constantly licking his canteen. Also why canteens i mean what are knights? Robots = oil in canteen bio-mechs and living things = water in canteen.

(most fan fic writers consider bio-mechs)
