ok, so i just came back a month ago from quiting on grand opening cause all my stuff goes down the drain, i played and got the wolver line, owlite line, calibur line, and antigua line. I just got to 3* and my sword and gun (Blackhawk) is 4*... when i realize, IT CANT DO EFFECTIVE DAMAGE!

Blackhawk : Shadow and Piercing:
Against Beasts, Piercing is effective, Shadow normal -> Damage dealt is normal (Could've been effective)
Against Jelly, Piercing is weak, Shadow should be effective-> Damage dealt is lower (Could've been normal)
Against Fiends, Piercing is effective, Shadow weak -> Damage dealt is lower (Could've been normal)
Against Gremlin, Piercing is normal, Shadow should be effective -> Damage dealt is normal (Could've been effective)

I thought blackhawk should have been weak to only undeads and constructs! and people who uses AP also suffering this.
Why can't they make them effective?! why nerf the antigua line soo bad?!

That's no news, split damage

That's no news, split damage weapons are slightly effective against 2/6 monsters, slightly ineffective against 2/6 monsters, and very ineffective against 2/6 monsters.

You don't always see the gold numbers when you hit beasts and gremlins, but it's still slightly effective (not very effective like a pur damage weapon would be). It's a problem related to how the game handle the white/gold numbers, which is another subject.

Antigua line is, overall, a weapon which sacrifices damage for ease of use. 6 shot clip, movement while firing/reloading make it a very easy gun to use.

And despite those compromises, Argent Peacemaker is still one of the most used gun for FSC (Sentenza is generally only used for PvP though).

Hmm

There is a display issue with damage coloring. Sometimes the damage is actually effective but doesn't reach the threshold that would change the coloring. Don't worry though, you really are doing the right amount of damage the color is just wrong.

This is particularly a problem if:
Weapon less than 5*
Weapon is not Level 10
Weapon has any non-normal damage
Weapon is used in T1/2 and early T3
You have any damage bonus, either from UVs or gear
The creature isn't from your strata (i.e. most alpha wolvers or in danger rooms)
...
There are probably more reasons, but that is all I can think of right now.

The Antigua lines are particularly susceptible to this display issue due to the split damage that is special/special. There are many scenarios where it should be effective or normal but instead the color shows normal or ineffective, respectively.

I'm hesitant to call this a bug really since it has been this way since Day 1 and is quite consistent. I think the best way to think about it is that the damage calculation is entirely separate from the effective coloring calculation. Under normal circumstances they should agree, but when they don't agree the thing that is important, actual damage, is always calculated in the logical manner. It is the effective coloring that is not.

Damage color is borked...

Weapon has any non-normal damage

Normal damage split type too.
Easy to test example: Nightblade line charge atttack vs. slimes, especially small ones.

Blackhawk is like a cocoon of

Blackhawk is like a cocoon of an imago... It has a short range, crappy damage but after it became Blackhawk the range increases superior! The damage is questionable, but its quiet good against gremlins, medium against beasts, and not so good against anything else...

But Antigua allways did not the best damage, but is good for focusing on healers -> Balckhawk is perfect for mendors.

Yea. That can be done by Antigua and Needle Line, while Needle just deals much more damage, even to construct and jellies .. :P
