We've all heard that a healing weapon would be overpowered in dungeons and that it will never make it into the game, but what I have to suggest here is not a healing weapon, but a curing weapon. Yes, that's right, a CURING weapon. It's a bomb, and here's how it works:

Pros:
- Instantly cures status effects when you're in it's radius
- Adds temporary defense and status resist bonuses when you enter it's radius
- Lasts longer than most bombs
- Can constantly damage Fiends and Undead if they enter it's radius

Cons:
- Has less range than most bombs
- Charges a bit slower than other bombs
- Movement speed penalty while charging
- Cannot cure Fire and Curse caused by the Fang of Vog and Gran Faust
- Very weak damage

Tell me what you think. (Edited the first post with some changes.)

Sounds fairly balanced to me,

Sounds fairly balanced to me, but I assume it's almost always meant for a Team. I mean, judging from what you've said, the Charge would take way too long to be able to cure your status, and not to mention the damaging statuses cancel your charge when you're hit. So it looks mainly like a teamplay bomb that should be used ahead of time, because if you use it when you see someone get a status afflicted on them, that status will probably be over by the time you set the bomb (Maybe no in T3). Then again, depending on how good the status resistance boost and defensive boost is, maybe it would be good for soloing as well. And maybe if you set it ahead of time while soloing, you can cure a status if you get afflicted, but that'd require a lot of bomb setting and it depends on the duration.

That's just my thoughts on it.

Perhaps

I like this idea, it's the most sensible thing relating to healing. Perhaps you could make the bomb heal every status besides things that are self-inflicted? Yes to statuses placed by mobs and environmental hazards, but specifically those placed by weapons as mentioned would not be healed; it's a definite way to avoid abuse.

@Conkeykrab

If the bomb couldn't heal fire and curse caused by FoV and GF, then we could let the bomb cure status instantly.

Which is what I'd want, really. But idk if Three Rings can do that. I'll edit the first post anyhow.

Once a status is inflicted,

Once a status is inflicted, theres only 2 options at that point.... cure it, or wait it out. While possible to have it filter self-inflicted status, they would basically need to add a new class of status effects so it could be easily ignored by the Sterilizer*.

The assumption right now is it being a Chem bomb, which would normally have a very high trigger rate to inflict a status. Lower the trigger rate to once every 2 seconds with a 6-8 second haze life span, recycle the PvP healing pad code with 0 HP to add the cure function, and you have the base elements of a functional cure bomb. And since the boost AOE is already coded into the Alpha wolvers, retasking it for use with Knights shouldn't be difficult.

* See what I did there?
