ive noticed in alot of my runs that alot people dont really know how to use their charge attacks for their weapons the most effictively i.e attack with calibur charge and miss by a hair because of lunge and leaving yourself open , thats why id like to just state some small facts that any new or old player might need to know(i wont be posting how to use gun charges mostly because theyr really the same in my opinion excluding silversix, and blackhawk but ill post some techniques i use if you want :B)

1.Range:(obviously) know the RANGE of your charge attack this is crucial if you want to pull off a charge attack withoug leaving yourself open to attack

any easy way to do this is kite your enemies in a clockwise motion while your walking in a circle charge your attack and as soon as your enemies are

right behind you make sure your directly in middle of the mob because ive had experieces were i go a little to the left and leave my slef open to attacks

from the right and so should be taken notice this also depends on your type of enemy your facing obviously if its a bunch of jellies just run in a circle and

get your charge attack in the middle now if your facing say a group of lumbers its best to only use this technique if your weapon has a knockback like a

calibur or heavy sword i wouldnt really suggest using a spur since its charge attack is atrocious but its normal attack makes up for it if your facing a

wolver or volver alpha youl want to wait till theyr either in a ball or inback of you and right when you trigger your charge attack turn around and as they

come to attack you theyll in turn get hit by your attack but i can stress how much you need to know the range of your weapon itll not only help you but

probably save you from certain death

2.Damage: this ones kindoff a gimme because i doubt your going to be able to walts right in with a proto sword (first weapon you get) into the jelly

kings chamber and kill it so for damage this would probably different for every tier then there would be different elements and such but if you want a

good weapon with decent attack and a good charge look no futher and whip out your handy dandy calibur the calibur comes with its own spin attack

*cough*zelda*cough* and it lights up in the dark :D but in all seriousness this is going to be your bread and butter for most of t2 and if you choose to

get a leviathan blade or cold iron itll still have the same charge attack from what ive been told (i have ascended) also just incase your wondering cold

iron doesnt have max damage but does increased damage to undead type monsters also most charge attacks should do a pretty good damage so youll

want to wear armor that increases you elemental i.e chromalisk set + ascended cali = 170x2 against jellies

3.Gear: this is kindoff a gimme too since most weapons have charge reduction time and youll basically gather heat like nothing so i suggest just have a layout of what armor your going to need like heavy demo if you use bombs or magical set if you fight alot of elemental monsters so it will help to prepare so far ive seen that wolver set has an attack bonus low so you might want to get that just for the extra attack \

4.Crowd control: this one would fall more into a bomb category i suppose but im just throwing it out there if you have bombs just use them and skip this if not then keep on reading ..........ok so like i said above know your charge attack and range these are key factors in using crowd control a good combo is someone charges up an attack and when you knock the monsters back have someon be behind them and use their attack right after yours creating a sort of game of catch after that just spam normal and they should be taken care of if your soloing i would probably recommend taking your time and blocking alot and also keep your distance (also just incase you need a bomb for specifically crowd controling i suggest get a graviton bomb this bomb is wayyyyyyy underused i think ive only seen one other person with it besides me its basically a black hole and causes hight damage and itll suck anything in its radius )

5.Plan: if your going to spam a gate (jelly) know were the monsters will spawn and charge your attack before entering the room not only will this give you some room to breathe but itll soften up the monsters for you party members also if thers a room were monsters spawn from buttons have your someon press the button when your right in the middle of were the monsters will spawn and unleash an attack this works great with a calibur and basically just plan ahead of how your going to do your dungeon and how yoll act it out

well this is all i have if i missed anything plz post it and if you guys want a bomb or gun one i can do that just ask so far all of this is from experience and should be pretty basic for now, also check the wiki for armors you might want or think will help you pull off

This seems like a great guide

This seems like a great guide but it would be much more accessible if your sentences were neatly organized!

I think this is a great idea too, however it might also be helpful in the New Recruits section of the message boards!

It took me awhile what your

It took me awhile what your trying to say there. But I caught up what you were trying to say.

To add onto your tips...:
Players should plan out with their party how they are about to go with taking out hordes of mobs. For example, if I have a gravity bomb and someone on my team has a acid bomb/or gun, both combined (and if timed right) it could do some serious damage to the mobs.
Also the Spur and the Calibur is both great weapons if used correctly.
With the spur, if you time it correctly, you could not only fire a projectile but try to quickly get 3 basic swings afterwards sometimes getting a 4 to 5 hit combo! Don't quickly swing your basic attack until you fired that projectile, because if you do use your basic attack early, it would basically cancel off your special attack!
As for the Calibur, the sword is great for knocking back foes. So if your about to get overrun by the enemy, charge up and strike! I also found that the calibur could be seriously good is if you charge up and do that special 360 degree move on a mob that is in a corner. You could strike 2 times in one single blow! The damage rate is usually about 100, so if you attack an enemy at a corner, they'll get 200 damage instead of 100. Lol! Sometimes I would like to switch out my Arc Razor for my calibur in dangerous situations!

Heh, you can't let me edit

Heh, you can't let me edit it, but I can post my edit of your words here, and you can choose what to do.

Here follows my edit of your words; I did my best to keep your style, word choice, terminology, and spirit; and please do correct any mistakes I've introduced.

== Dinoo's Words ==

I've noticed in a lot of my runs that a lot of people don't really know how to use their charge attacks for their weapons the most effectively, i.e., they'll attack with their Calibur charged and miss by a hair because of the lunge, leaving themselves open. That's why I'd like to ust state some small facts that any new or old player might need to know. (I won't be posting how to use gun charges, mostly because they're really the same in my opinion, excluding Silversix and Blackhawk, but I'll post some techniques I use if you want :B)

1. Range: (Obviously) know the RANGE of your charge attack. This is crucial if you want to pull off a charge attack without leaving yourself open to attack. An easy way to do this is to kite your enemies in a clockwise motion: while you're walking in a circle, charge your attack. As soon as your enemies are right behind you, right when you trigger your charge attack, turn around. Make sure you're directly in middle of the mob when you turn around, because I've had experiences where I go a little to the left and leave myself open to attacks from the right. Also take notice that this depends on the type of enemy you're facing. Obviously if it's a bunch of jellies, just run in a circle and get your charge attack in the middle. Now, if you're facing, say, a group of lumbers, it's best to only use this technique if your weapon has a knockback like a Calibur or heavy sword. I wouldn't really suggest using a Spur since its charge attack is atrocious, but its normal attack makes up for it. If you're facing a wolver or alpha wolver you'll want to wait until they're either in a ball or in back of you.

Once you've turned around and triggered your charge attack, as your enemies come to attack you, they'll in turn get hit by your attack. But I can't stress how much you need to know the range of your weapon. It'll not only help you but probably save you from certain death.

2. Damage: This one's kind of a gimme because I doubt you're going to be able to waltz right in with a Proto Sword (the first weapon you get) into the Jelly King's chamber and kill it. So, for damage—this choice would probably be different for every tier, then there are different elements and such—but if you want a good weapon with decent attack and a good charge, look no further and whip out your handy dandy Calibur. The Calibur comes with its own spin attack *cough*Zelda*cough* and it lights up in the dark :D but in all seriousness, this is going to be your bread and butter for most of T2. And if you choose to get a Leviathan Blade or Cold Iron Vanquisher, it'll still have the same charge attack from what I've been told (I have Ascended Calibur).

Also, just in case you're wondering, Cold Iron doesn't have max damage, but does increased damage to undead type monsters. Also, most charge attacks should do pretty good damage, so you'll want to wear armor that increases your elemental damage, i.e. Chromalisk Set + Ascended Cali = 170x2 against jellies.

3. Gear: This is kind of a gimme too since most weapons have charge reduction time, and you'll basically gather heat like nothing, so I suggest to just have a layout of what armor you're going to need, like Heavy Demo if you use bombs, or Magical set if you fight a lot of elemental monsters. A plan will help prepare you. So far I've seen that the Wolver set has an "Attack Bonus: Low" so you might want to get that just for the extra attack.

4. Crown control: This oe would fall more into a bomb category, I suppose, but I'm just throwing it out there. If you have bombs just use them and skip this. If not, then keep on reading ..........Ok, so like I said above, know your charge attack and range. These are key factors in using crowd control. A good combo is someone charging up an attack right after yours, creating a sort of game of catch. After that just spam normally and they should be taken care of. If you're soloing I would probably recommend taking your time and blocking a lot, and also keep your distance.

Also, just in case you need a bomb for specifically crowd controlling, I suggest getting a Graviton Bomb. This bomb is wayyyyyyy underused. I think I've only seen one other person with it besides me. It's basically a black hole and causes high damage, and it'll suck anything in its radius.

5. Plan: If you're going to spam a gate (like a jelly gate), know where the monsters will spawn and charge your attack before entering the room. Not only will this give you some room to breathe, but it'll soften up the monsters for your party members. Also, if there's a room where monsters spawn from buttons, have someone press the button when you're right in the middle of where the monsters will spawn, and unleash an attack. This works great with a Calibur. Basically, just plan ahead with how you're going to do your dungeon and how you'll act it out.

Well, this is all I have. If I missed anything plz post it. And if you guys want a bomb or gun one, I can do that, just ask. So far all of this is from experience and should be pretty basic for now. Also check the wiki for armors you might want or think will help you pull this off.
