Energy for t1 players.

At the current time, it's nearly impossible for people in T1 to be able to afford enough energy to keep playing (unless they're good at the arena and can do all three levels over and over again). So the only other option for a new player is to either: Wait 22 hours, or buy energy with cash. Logically speaking, someone who has only spent an hour in a game most likely will NOT spend real money in that game.

For people in tier two (and people such as myself with 4-5* gear), making money to afford energy is okay. However with the way things currently are, energy is basically ruining this game for t1 players. It's impossible for them to make enough money to continue playing so they're forced to sit out and wait. Three Rings is basically just removing a potential customer.

So that's why I'm suggesting we lower the energy costs for t1 players drastically (like, 2-5 energy per elevator in the first 10 depths). Enough to let them actually able to continue playing this game at least.

This is the umpteenth thread

This is the umpteenth thread about this. I almost feel like this shouldn't even be acknowledged. Anyways heres the math for you.

Full T1 run, which you can do in 0star gear and not die, which I am proof to, and have done many times. This nets you 2500 to 3000 crowns conservatively while spending 60 CE. Which you can then use to purchase the 3000 - 3500 crown cost of 100 CE currently. If you don't have enough you have a few options do a half run of T1 again and get another 1500 or sell some mats and recipes you get for another 1000 or so crowns pretty easily depending on what materials you have.

Step two do T1 again, you should now have about 140 energy and some left over crowns, upon finishing this you should be left with 80 CE and another 3000+ crowns for you to buy more energy, and keep doing the cycle. Goes on and on, by the 3rd or 4th run you should have enough to buy some two or 3 star recipes, and should have more than enough materials to craft them.

Feel free to complain when energy prices hit upwards of 10k maybe even 5k per 100.

Your "method" requires you to

Your "method" requires you to be extremely good at this game and not die, (something newbies are NOT), be very lucky (with mats and finding a sought after t1 recipe which is extremely rare), get many arenas (which again requires luck). It's not very newbie friendly at all.

With the energy prices so

With the energy prices so high, It looks like us F2P members has to find a different alternative: Look at #7 post, read my suggestion hopefully it will help and hopefully P2P players would be nice enough too. Just have to be lucky sometimes. =/ : http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/2816

Play in a group, you die, you

Play in a group, you die, you get revived. T1 is very forgiving, it was made for "newbies" Thats also why you are not only granted 100 Mist Energy every 24 hours, but also a nice mist tank upon arriving to Haven. Honestly you should have no trouble at this point making enough to get to a constant flow of energy.

It takes every little time to get down the attack habits of the few varieties of T1 creatures. Good use of shield and attack patterns and you should breeze through the game alone, if not with a party of 4 as intended.

I'm sorry I can't be more supportive of these lower energy costs of elevators/lower or control energy prices threads, and I'm not trying to attack you but it's because I have been doing it since the game came out, I have little to no issue coming up with the money each and every time. Free to play.

If you really really can't hack it drop $5 to pad your character with a bit of spending energy, which is more than reasonable for a game as beautiful and engrossing as this.
