Well, I mostly explained what I suggest there: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/28934#comment-170593
The first point is similar to one of Kwizzy's suggestions, i.e. to get different "waiting" counters by Tier. This way you know if you're the only one waiting for a T1 game or if there's only one guy missing...
The second is that to allow more flexibility I'd like to be able to wait both for T1 and T3. The problem of T3 loadouts would then be solved by restricting available loadouts to the ones corresponding to the Tier where I got a game.
Currently, what happens when I play Lockdown is quite often:
- check "waiting counter"
- uncheck PvP for all my T3 loadouts
- wait for a T1 game
- get delayed
- wait again
- ...
- withdraw
- re-check all my T3 loadouts
- wait for a T3 game
- get delayed wondering if some T1 game didn't start in the meantime
- finally get a game
What I would imagine:
- check that I'm interested in both T1 and T3 (and thus get added to both counters) [of course one needs at least a T1 loadout and a T3 loadout]
- wait for the first available game
- if it is T3... well, play as usual
- if it is T1, just restrict my available loadouts (and if necessary make me equip one of them)
P.S. 4v4 guild vs. guild would also be immensely needed...
I support this.
