Imagining the Skylark...crashing.

To intro, some background info: Imagining
My friend (Drbone) and I, were listening to the Spiral Knights music when he told me about what he sees when he hears the "Haven" song. This is an idea I loved and want all of you to imagine with me, just for a moment.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1prVJLPIb1A Here is the music to follow along.
---
As the music begins, you see the Cradle, the planet we are now on, but the view is from space.
As the music progresses to :15 seconds, the view scrolls over to the space above the Cradle, we all notice the Skylark, a massive ship that may have a different look for all of you, this is what I see:
~~~~
I see a large frontal lobe which houses the cockpit and most other navigation system and critical components. The ship is quite massive, on comparison with a Star Destroyer from Star Wars. The rest of the ship is directly behind this front portion in a straight line, (as the ship is all a straight line), now here's where it gets fuzzy, there are obviously windows, and thousands of escape pods, but I can't imagine much else. Which leads me to the thrusters, massive things, once again comparable with Star Destroyer's thrusters. propelling the ship forward with a red and orange flame.
~~~~
Moving back to the song:
Once the song hits :16 seconds you hear a rise in the music, at this very moment, the Skylark explodes into flames which cover the screen for a moment. As the music continues, the screen is cleared and you notice the ship crashing downward into the planet, flames coming from large gashes in the ship's hull. Now at :30 seconds, the view moves into the ship. Several Cobalt armored knights are quickly rushing around steam filled hallways as a constant red warning lights are flashing above. Back outside again.
The ship is steadily closing into the planet, at :56 seconds the ship starts shooting out hundreds of escape pods as you see them heading downward into the planet. The view now follows a single pod's decent as it lights up in flames from the resistance of the atmosphere. Around 1:38 the view starts fading outwards as you can now see tons of escape pods steadily making their way down to the planet. The camera stays at this position for a while as you see the small explosions of the pods crashing into the ground.
Somewhere around this moment, the view goes to a Stranger, standing along (possibly in Haven) looking up to see the falling pods and the Skylark, as it explodes once more and crashes out of sight.
From here on out, I have lost most creative ideas. This is where I need your help, finish the movie for me, show me what comes next. What happens to the Skylark, what happens to the knights?
At 2:45 it zooms a dust cloud on the surface, the dust clears, and you can start to see a lone pod in it's crash site. Soon after, you notice a lone knight face down on the ground near the now-blown-off door. The camera starts to zoom in to the knights face. Now at 3:18 you see an eye open, and the camera quickly zooms out as the knight struggles to get up, looks around, and assess the situation.
The camera now starts to zoom out until it passes through some bushes but can still see the knight looking at his arm (As most knights do to check their messages). The knight is reading his message from Spiral HQ. But as 3:40 rolls around, you notice something moving among the bushes, a gremlin, and then another, they are watching the lone knight, as the knight finishes reading the message and begins to run off towards the Rescue Camp, they slink away.
---
This is what I see, this is what I want you to imagine. Help me finish the story, the gaps, or even better, help me make this a reality, make Three Rings, or anyone, make it into a "Intro To Spiral Knights Movie."
EDIT: I spelled Imagining wrong.
EDIT: Added in the Stranger idea DrBone reminded me of.
EDIT: Added in the above EDIT message.

The only way I can think of having the story end with the music is to expand the story a little bit. This bumps some of the content of the original story, but this is what I can see:
0:00 - 0:30 We see several angles of a spaceship in space. We also see some shots of the crew and maybe some shots of the bridge
0:31 ~ 0:40 Transition to a shot of two spirals moving down the hall of the ship. They are speaking with each other. They are obviously off duty and good friends
0:41 ~ 0:55 Camera shakes a bit. Both spirals see exclamation marks floating above their wrist watch com-links (similar to the exclamation marks you see on the devices you find in the clockworks.) They check their watches then quickly say their goodbyes (maybe though a smile and a wave or something.) They then run off in different directions. We follow one of these spirals (I'll call them Spiral A) for a while
0:55 - 1:25 Spiral A reaches their destination. They open a door to a room to find the place blazing. The fire is too large. They cannot put it out. Spiral A waves for the others in the room to leave. Spiral A hits a button on the wall which causes a large firewall to start falling. All spirals leave just as the firewall comes down and seals off the area.
from here on it starts to get fuzzy for me.
1:25 - 1:42 Transition to the outside of the spaceship. The spaceship has extensive damage. There are several ways I can think of showing this. One way would be though explosions ala all your base. Another way would be to show a large hole in the ship with spark showers coming from the wound. You could try to show the spaceship "listing" in space (which would make no sense, but the old star trek did it that way sometimes.) In any case, the footage should convey the sense of massive damage.
1:42 - 2:35 Switch to the bridge. Control panels are lit up like Christmas trees. A spiral is examining a screen that shows an image of the skylark. It has patches of red and yellow all over it. Another spiral tries to send a message, but it appears that the com-link is down. A third spiral points a screen showing the outline of cradle. they hit a few buttons and the picture of cradle comes up on the main screen. One of the spirals looks at the captain questioningly. The captain nods. A spiral punches a few commands into a console. Red lights come on in the hallways (similar to star trek's "red alert") and a word is displayed on most of the monitors: Evacuate. This word could be written in alien handwriting.)
2:35 - 3:18 We see spirals in the halls of the ship reacting to the message. They start to head in one direction (toward the escape pods.) We see some newbie spirals (the ones in proto gear) looking back into their living quarters before they head off with the rest of the spirals. At this point we might transistion to the outside of the ship and see escape pods starting to leave.
3:18 - 3:41 Transition back to spiral A, moving against the crowd and looking for something (Their friend from earlier.) Several quick cut shots show the crowd thinning out and a close up of Spiral A's face as they look around the corridors. A hand appears on spiral A's shoulder. This hand is the same color as Sprial B. Spiral A looks back and sees:
(happy version) it's their friend. They have happily greet each other in the empty hall.
(sad version) it's a higher ranking officer. The officer looks in the direction of the escape pods. The officer and Spiral A stare at each other for a while. Sprial A sighs, takes one last look deeper into the skylark and clenches their fist.
3:41 - 4:26 The camera starts to shake in earnest. Sprial A and the other spiral start running towards the escape pods. Both spirals get into their own escape pods. Transition to Spiral A's escape pod window. It shows the pod going though a tube, then leaving the skylark. As the pod falls we can see that the skylark has already entered Cradle's atmosphere. The ship is awash in the flames of re-entry. The camera tuns back on Spiral A, then moves back a little to reveal Sprial A and the other spiral's escape pods. It shows the pods shrinking with Cradle looming large in the background.
4:27 - 4:32 The last two notes correspond to the two escape pods vanishing into cradle via the twinkle in the sky method.

Why do you think Haven's theme so deathly?

Because when you listen to it, it sounds too sweet, but strangely powerful to just be happy.
EDIT: That's a pretty cool idea, following the Spiral Knights and such, I'll talk it over with Drbone and see what we can figure out.

Tried listening to it, and I got it.
0:00-0:15 - The camera starts looking at empty space, but then looks at Cradle from space when the melody starts.
0:15-0:55 - The camera falls into Haven, and then it takes a quick tour there, ending with the mineral crystals at the arcade.
0:55-1:25 - The camera goes to look down to the mechanical floor, while a knight in 4* cobalt armor says it's dangerous down there. The camera gazes into the deep mechanics, and then takes a dive inside.
1:25-1:45 - The camera is falling very fast, but serenely. Passing through the Gloaming Wildwoods, the Ironclaw Munitions Factory and Jelly Kingdom, finally falling into a clockworks terminal recently cleared by knights, right at the downward elevator as the knights wave to the camera while going deeper.
1:45-2:15 - The camera explores the terminal, with no monsters to disturb, enjoying the mechanical landscape.
2:15-2:30 - A long gaze to the mechanical sealing, exploring it for unknown wonders.
2:30-3:00 - The camera falls back to looking directly forward, seeing a small T1 slime has arrived, yet it doesn't want to harm the camera. The camera continues exploring with its new slimy friend.
3:00-3:20 - The previous elevator's landing spot is found, but it seems ready to spring upwards. The camera looks at the slime wander into it, and follows, as they come up.
3:20-3:30 - The elevator stops at the Gloaming Wildwoods, with its passengers welcomed by a band of wolvers.
3:30-3:40 - The elevator falls down, to land in a Graveyard.
3:40-4:32 - As the elevator lands, Slags and Phantoms welcome its passengers, allowing them to explore inside. In the end of this part, bursts of light are being hallucinated by the camera and its slimy friend, warping them somewhere. (Back to the middle of space, restarting the whole sequence. Sadly enough, the slime gets killed throughout this process.)

A very strange idea, with more of a happier chime to it. It gives me an idea.
Unfortunately, I'm in class right now and can't be bothered to go through the work of listening and typing. I might when I get home though.
A general outlook of my idea is the camera heading downwards into the clockwords, exploring, noticing, much like the beginning of Ocarina of Time.

It didnt blow up and crash its power supply is dead hence why we are looking for a power source in the core so i assume the skylark is drifting powerless and unoccupied due to no power even for life support in orbit.
:)

This reveals a very eerie quality to the Haven theme I never noticed before. But then again, peaceful melodies coupled with tragedy can be quite powerful.
I'll do a single bump, simply because I really want someone to help me finish this story.
