I started to (rage)craft Skelly Masks for me and my other accounts, but the first one out of the batch came with a Medium Fire UV. One of the reasons people don't use Skelly things in FSC is because of the bad fire defense, it has an awesome shadow defense. With this fire resistance, would it be a good idea to use this in FSC?

Doesn't the UV on armor and shields upgrade as the gear does? If it doesn't, it should 'cause low doesn't seem to good once its 5*.

No. not at all. Once a med UV, always a med UV
Not only that, UV's have the same length of bar for any item whatever star...
Think: Lockdown tier 1 with Max Normal UV... (but for the record, I would still cry if I "accidentally" crafted a circuit breaker armor with a max UV...)
I know that it stays at Med, but it doesn't grow in length at 5*??? *starts to cry*

max will cancel out the negative resistance, so at best youd have neutral, you can bring half skelly with max, but bring a fire resistant armor piece. Not to say you can't do it without fire resistance at all, but the you dont need armor :D
Can anyone test to see if the bars of UVs in armor/helm/shield increase by upgrading?
If you want a good armor for FSC.. just get a fallen set.. Fire res and shadow.. what else do you need?
The status UV bars don't get any longer as you progress in star level. But then again, the armor's negative resistance doesn't get worse either.
However, the damage resistance UV bars do get longer as you upgrade. A long time ago someone did a test and found something like... 4* Low UV bar is longer than a 2* Medium UV bar. Can't remember what it was exactly, but they had screenshots :)

It does get worse, that's why I wanted to know if the UV gets better to counter it. If it did, it would remain at a low resistance. But it doesn't so, will Max work?
Try comparing Dread Skelly's fire penalty with the bar of any status resist Medium UV (ideally, on other gear, since Skelly would cancel out part of the Fire Med). I think it's still going to be a negative overall once upgraded.
