Tiers
There are 3:
Tier 1- all knights have access (depths 1-7)
Tier 2- knights with 2-star or better Armor, Helm, Shield and Weapon (depths 8-17)
Tier 3- knights with 4-or-5-star Armor, Helm, etc. and completed 25 Tier-2 levels. (depths 18-29)
Don't have Tier 3 clearance yet myself, but what I gathered from putting minerals into gates:
Tier 1:
Stratum 1: d1-3
Clockwork Terminal: d4
Stratum 2: d5-7
Tier 2:
Moorcroft Manor: d8
Stratum 3: d9-12
Clockwork Terminal: d13
Stratum 4: d14-17
Tier 3:
Emberlight: d18
Stratum 5: d19-22
Clockwork Terminal: d23
Stratum 6: d24-28
The Core: d29
There is currently only 3 Tiers. And a total of 29 depths if you count the terminals and subtowns
