According to the Wiki the Quicksilvers should only
be able to electrify themselves in tier 3.

Made a couple of visits to the Roarmulus Twins recently
and have seen plenty of self-electrocution from them
Quicksilvers in the levels leading up to them.

Don't know if it's intentional though.

Quicksilvers can be electrified when touching the shock traps on the ground.

Or any shock for that matter.

Or any shock for that matter. T3 enables them to shock themselves.

No, I've seen the same thing.

No, I've seen the same thing. They've been electrifying themselves when they shouldn't. I was spazzing out about it earlier.

Yes, I do know that ANY shock thing can set them off. But what I was seeing is the Quicksilvers activate their self electrifying attack (telegraphed the green circle around themselves, then electrified). So, I think it might be a glitch.

Quite..

Like i wrote in the first post, which was misunderstood by
some, I mean their selfelectrifying ability. That is when they
are not anywhere near a trap or hit with an attack that can
cause shock. Just in the middle of a room and then they do
their little animation and start zipping about.

I've seen that happen too.

I've seen that happen too. They even have that green circle that comes up when they're about to perform an elemental attack.

T2 danger rooms will

T2 danger rooms will sometimes have T3 enemies, and the Jelly Palace has T3 jellies despite being T2 itself, so wouldn't be too crazy for IMF to have T3 quicksilvers. These guys do not, however, appear to BE T3 quicksilvers, so it's more likely the behavior of T2 quicksilvers was just changed. Try to find a quicksilver on another T2 level and see if it does the same thing.

It's the same for other tier 2 levels

Did some runs in tier 2 other than the roarmulus-gate
and saw them quicksilvers electrify themselves plenty.
So, it's not a phenomenon exclusive to tier 3 or the
roarmulus levels. So either it's a bug or the wiki needs
to be updated. I'll wait and see a little though.

I've started seeing

I've started seeing quicksilvers self-electrify (with the green ring and all) in just regular D9 levels, no danger room or anything. I think the wiki should be updated.

Yes, now they can. BTW,

Yes, now they can. BTW, Before this update, T3 Quicksilvers were bugged: after self-electrifying, they would lose aggro and get stuck in the wall. Hope they fixed this too.
