I got a maid headband on my seraphic helm and i brought a fancy helm-mounted display, i try to put it on my seraphic helm with my maid headband and it wouldn't let me, it said" Can't put another accessory in the same location." but maid headband is a helm top accessory and helm-mounted display is a front helm accessory, and they said it was in the same location, i don't get this.....................

I am having the same problem
I have a Toasty Ribbon that i want to put on my Emberbreak Helm that already has a Heavy Flower on it. I get the same error message notifying me that the slot is already occupied even though it is not and i even had Bechamel remove accessory from back helm slot lol!
Hope this gets fixed :)

Yeah I removed an accessory on the helm top then tried to add a different one and no dice. Says its still there, tried restarting and removing more than once. I really hope this is a glitch and not gonna make me need to get a new helmet, its bad enough removing an accessory is losing it...

I got the same issue, too. But for me it's Ghostly Aura. I have equipped Regal Long Feather, Regal Bolted Vee, Regal Vertical Vents, Regal Goggles, Regal Barrel Belly, and Regal Side Blade. I like to think it makes me look like an Egyptian God.
But I digress. I cannot equip my Ghostly Aura due to this bug.

No response to bug reports
I've tried equipping a combo of front and side accessories on a Gold (Regalia) Chapeau.
Given the number of bug reports - it appears that, accessories are broken.
They work very well, as they "should" when you use Preview functions.
Would... it be a terrible thing for someone from OOO to acknowledge that either they in fact DO have a bug or the lot of us are just inept at equipping accessories?
Also given the associated minimum cost for accessories - it would be nice to see some validation of issues to the player base.

I have no doubt they have seen this, the other threads, and all the in-game bug reports that have been sent to them.
This is based on the many instances in the past where bugs were addressed.
However, the bugs that have a larger impact on the playability game, such as issues with access for MAC users, are addressed more quickly than others.
While you and I (yes, I am waiting to equip something myself too) may prefer a bug fix to be released within a day or two of it being identified, I think the developers are dealing with other things at the moment (new content).... After all, an accessory will not stop our ability to ... do anything..... Cept brag and strut around showing off our pieces of flare.
So folks... let's just hope when they push the new content, one of the included things will be this bug fix here.
We can probably also stop posting to this thread people, I think it's obvious that the issues are accessories in general, not specific combinations of armor/helms & accessories.

OK so i know 3 people including my self with regalia and accessory(s) now mine a black regalia has only a dusky vertical vents and nothing else now i can't equip my dusky pipe for some reason. next i have a gold regalia set and it has both vertical vents and a knight vision goggles on. A friend has blue regalia and has both a pipe and vertical vents on. And a green regalia has only a pipe on and can't equip his vertical vents. Also actually my black regalia chap use to have a front accessory (helm mounted display) so it seems as though only gold and blue regalia can equip 2 accessories for some reason and all others can't or only certain regalia can cause all regalia chapeaus have front and side i believe so front=pipe and side=vertical vents but it won't work

I never had this problem up until now, I used to put multiple accessories on one item never had problems. Now I have the same problem as everyone else.
hope this bug get fixed soon, I go heaps of customising to do. :3

I sent a support ticket, and a GM responded pretty quickly. She mentions that it will be fixed with the next game update, likely for the new content coming.
Guess we just need to be patient in the meantime then.
