I've been noticing recently that not many people are requesting mats and all. Also 5stars don't have much use for them except to sell em, make more 5star stuff or just keep em, and I thought that it would be a very boring life to be a mat XD. So now to the point. (BTW I'm doing this during a server reboot) I was wondering if SK could have some sort of guy or machine that took certain mats to create something OTHER then equipment. Things such as accessories (probably not costumes, that would be too unbalanced) or something completely else, something out of the box! Or maybe you can get iron lock-boxes or keys or something completely different. Maybe a prize wheel. Maybe to enter a trivia. That reminds me, Spiral Knights isn't a very educational game (no offense intended) so maybe you could do something like this. Enter a decent amount of certain mats and you get to enter the trivia. Then you can twist it around like a question like this "Where was Hercuknight (Hercules :) originated from" Players could search up answers but be given a time limit of one minute. There could be different topics (ones that Spiral knights could twist around like the ? above) so that everyone can specialize in them. Also, certain mats could be assigned to certain topics in the trivia. Last but not least we come to the hardest part-The Prize. I understand how the economy works in SK so its definitely not going to be energy. Oh yea and BTW, ?'s can change every hour so you can assign some people for the SK staff to handle that such as one of the GM's. Also there should be a language option if you know what I mean :) . Anyway the prize could be something creative like a pass to play Lockdown free for 3 times and to make players try all of em you can assign different passes to each topic such as delve free for one or Blast Network for free 3 times. One big factor is that people will only be able to play a certain limit and ?'s should auto switch around. Well that's my idea and I hope you consider it. I understand if you do not accept it because mats are not a benefit to you but feel free to twist around the idea! Thank you!!!!!
