Is it possible to solo a tier 3 level if there is at least one out-of-reach (like, completely) gun puppy (rocket launcher, you know, those that don't miss in tier 3 and have 2nd rocket flying your way by the time you dodge 1st), which spawns when you enter a maze-like level (zig-zag corridors with no walls so shots by one gun puppy can fly over the whole area freely)?

If rocket puppies spawned as I progress through the level, or area had walls, or there were other limitations on monsters, it would be possible to solo that level. But currently I see no way around it - its impossible to solo... unless you're Chuck Norris >:D

For the record: I came in full VOG set (maxed heat), with grey owlite shield (maxed heat). There is no problem with damage - everything dies in 2 hits. There is problem with monsters doing very high damage to me, with their projectiles chasing me around the level at speed I can't dodge (second rocket is already flying by the time 1st one explodes).

Level in question:
Golden falcon gate, Clockwork tunnels - mechanized mile at depth 19.

The clockwork tunnels levels

The clockwork tunnels levels are randomly generated, so whether you get that particular segment or not is completely up to chance.

That said, you'll probably find that bringing a polaris with you will make such situations much, much easier. You should be able to get off a couple shots before having to shield the first rocket hit, and then if you time things right the puppy will be interrupted long enough to be able to keep spamming it until it dies.

Another option is to use an RSS to pick off the puppy from outside its aggro range.

I did not understand your

I did not understand your problem, but assuming you cant reach the puppy any gun will do as long as you can run to a safe zone, enter the rocket puppy radius, shoot some, leave, and repeat. Second way is to aim the rockets at the enemies, the rocket will automatically explode when it hits and enemy.once the enemies die you can run for the puppy.You can also use vials, like sleep. Third is to force the rocket to change direction, when you do this the rocket has to accelerate in your new direction again, which gives you time to run around. Polaris is the easier way of course :P

@Nievem The problem:

@Nievem
The problem: typically this specific puppy spawn slot from the end of the room is watching the entrance. Typically its no problem because entrance is outside of normal gun puppy's reach, you just move on and it can't hit you. Rocket puppy's reach is extreme, however, they can hit you anywhere in that room and far outside of it, including behind corners. Basically, there is no "safe" area. Its not a gun puppy, its a rocket puppy!
Second: my nova driver can't reach that thing. And even if it could, how should I know where to aim? All I see is rocket flying after me, not the puppy itself! I know I can hit some of such puppies but this specific one has few issues:
a) I don't know where to shoot, and have no way to easily tell if I hit it
b) there is no safe place, if I dodge one rocket, another one is closing in on me
c) my shield can only take 2 rockets without breaking, so reaching it with a shield or using a shield to block attacks is out of question (grey owlite)

To sum it up: I can't see it (outside of screen), I can't hit it (outside of reach of Nova Driver), I can't avoid being hit by it (hits behind corner, I can't block its attacks with shield (it doesn't stop shooting and my shield won't regenerate this fast), I can't solo this specific room with a Rocket Puppy type gun puppy. If it was any other gun puppy time, it wouldn't cause much of a problem.
Its easier to do in a team - my team can reach and disable that specific gun puppy while I dance with rockets.

Shocker: You can actually aim

Shocker:
You can actually aim at rockets as with any other enemy... and kill them with your weapons... I killed one today... by accident. I was recording a video, found out while watching it - I swinged a sword at a rocket and it exploded without doing damage to me. Its hard to hit, though. I got lucky - was starting to charge my weapon when the rocket flew into swing radius.
