This seems to be exceptionally difficult. Does anyone use the Magnus line without auto-aim? Is it worth it to try to learn to do this? The issue is, in Lockdown with auto-aim it's very difficult to hit moving targets that aren't directly in front of me.
Callahan without auto-aim
in pvm i use auto aim with the callahan
in lockdown, i used to. not anymore since autoaim is useless here (for callahan at least). u have to predict where he will be after u fire the bullet. another tip is to keep the proper distance. what i mean by that is this: u know how the bullet explodes after a certain distance if it didn't hit anything right? keep ur target at roughly that distance. so even if you didn't hit him directly, you will still damage him when the bullet explodes in thin air.
Callahan doesn't have an exploding bullet, you're thinking of Iron Slug.
really? it looks like it's exploding to me.... (i only own a callahan). but regardless, what i wrote above still works
i use the callahan without auto aim , it isnt that hard... just aim, if you use auto aim it makes it very hard to pick off enemies
Using the Callahan without auto-aim in PVP feels the same with any other gun. You lead your shots or you miss. The only difference is that the bullets are pretty fast with the Callahan, so you need to adjust as such. I don't use auto-aim during Lockdown anyway since I use the Polaris, but I feel that it doesn't really matter to me.
How did you use Callahan WITH auto aim?
Most satisfaction comes from sniping butteflies in the middle of other enemies. It's something you can't do with autoaim.
Iron Slug and Callahan both have that explosion ... they are exactly the same weapon just with another dmg type ...
I use Callahan with autoaim if i need it. So I've put it on a Hotkey (Space) and i'll use it against wolvers and devilites, but not in pvp...
it takes practice to hit stuff with a callahan.
the bullet is a little narrow.
i was missing this guy a lot in a lockdown game and he lol'd at me and told me to stop using autoaim and called me a scrub.
i don't use autoaim!
