SO, I've been hearing this since day 1. Some dude on the losing team insists on being paid off because of the lackluster performance of their teammates. I literally just got done with a match in which a player apparently blew 30ce on revs "cuas i cnat wiat too long so pay me 30ce"
please tell me nobody does this. Please tell me that people don't dole out condolence money to whiners.

The only time I could see it
The only time I could see it being worthwhile to bribe someone would be if there were a Bombhead. Otherwise you can only make 80 crowns and, at max, 4 coins from winning. A mod calibrator is 75 coins which can see for roughly 11k so that means a coin is 146 crowns. So you can at most, without Bombheads, win 666 crowns. So the most you could bribe someone and still get a profit in ideal situations is 665 crowns or roughly 10 CE, at best.
Without bribing Krogmo you could only bribe someone 226 crowns or roughly 3 CE. You tell me, is it worth it?

well no, it's never worth it. Not once. It's not about bribing for wins or whatnot...it's about someone thinking they deserve compensation for a weak team. BTW, the guy I'm talking about was lone-wolfing it all the time.

Nope, I wouldn't pay anyone. Yeah, I admit, I'm not a super good player by any means, but if we lost, we lost. I feel that I shouldn't have to pay for anyone, even if I was the one who did the worst on the team.
It's a gamble in a sense. You payed to do a game with a random team. So, you(the payer) should have well known that you might be with a good team or a weak team. Yes, it does suck when you're in a team that isn't as experienced as you are, but hey, it's your fault for playing in a random team.

I never spend a single CE in
I never spend a single CE in LD, not on revs or on bribes (well, occasionally I'll chip in a few on a bribe), and I'd laugh in the face of anyone who asked for compensation after losing.
Sometimes you get a team stacked with people who spend 5 minutes in the locker reading the description bubbles on all the shield classes. Sometimes you get a team stacked with people who auto aim + pierce sword = right click to win. It's just the luck of the draw.
If someone does, contact me. I could whine all day as long someone pays me :p.
