I was browsing on the wiki, and I have spotted an interesting shield called the Swiftstrike Buckler which enhances attack speed. So my question to that is, what happens if you are already wielding a very fast agile weapon; like the Winmillion or the Hunting Blade? Will it make a significant difference? Has anyone experimented on that before? Is it good?

Because if so, that means your guy is lighting fast and powerful.
But if not, why not? Who doesn't want to strike their foes a lightning speed? It would be awesome and godly!

It does have a noticeable

It does have a noticeable effect, not very useful on the Cutter series (mostly makes the charge attack easier to pull off without a scrape), but it has good use. The downside and glaring deterrent is the lack of defensive ability the shield has, so you don't really have much to defend yourself with.

Also, the attack speed increase used to work with Handguns, not sure if it still does.

Even more glaring is the lack

Even more glaring is the lack of an upgrade path for the Swiftstrike Buckler.

When I use it with my heavy sword, it swings at a normal pace. I like this. When my friend uses it with Striker, oh my goodness is the difference noticeable.

Attack speed effects only

Attack speed effects only guns only? So the Attack speed doesn't effect how quick you can swing your basic attacks? It just means charge time is reduce? Aw, not cool then. =/ The charge time on my Winmillion is fast enough already. ^_^ Now if it effects my normal swings on my basic attacks. Now that would be a different story!

No, I meant that my heavy

No, I meant that my heavy sword now swings as quickly as a lighter sword. When a Troika/Kamarin/Khorovod swings as quickly as a Calibur, that's some serious acceleration. Apologies for the confusion.

I got the swiftstrike

I got the swiftstrike buckler, I tried it out with my Winmillion. I see no difference at all. What a waste of Crowns, CE, and matz T_T. I tested out with other swords like the proto and calibur sword, I have noticed a difference in there. But when wielding the Winmillion. I don't think I see a difference...what is that all about! Uggghhhh, devs I think you should fix this problem...please?

I want to strike faster than ever with my winmillion!

It is supposed to provide a noticeable difference, but not make it overpowered or a similar effect; just a nice edge to your swordplay.

Additionally, the likely reason for why you are not noticing an increase with the Spur line is because of the long recovery time, and slight pause between each swing.
__________

Overall, the Swiftstrike Buckler is well worth its buck and bonus. If you were expecting to whip around your sword at blazing speeds, then I am sorry to possibly disappoint. Your best bet would be to stack Attack Speed Increases to Very High, and be using a blade of the Cutter series, but I would suggest not going through with that trouble just for that - afterall, attack speed is a star attribute of said sword line.
