T1 lockdown just doesn't have much people in it. =( Try it during the evenings(U.S. time) or on the weekends. That's where most of the T1 games are being played.(With weekends being the best.)
And what Tengu said too, crafting them is a lot cheaper than just buying them.
EDIT: oh that's a good point penguin. Forgot about uvs. xD

Move up to T2
Upgrade all that gear to 3* and come over to T2 where the fun and competition is. Always a match going in there, btw.

I've managed a grand total of 3 T1 games, in just proto gear and a hot edge. It was awesome. But before I got in "delayed" popped up at least 10 times. The thing is just to register, then go do something else like AH or afk and do some surfing/watch a video etc with sound to tell you when you're *finally* in.

A basic T2 loadout should
A basic T2 loadout should cost around 60kcr, assuming you're buying everything from scratch off the AH.
Dusker cap and coat, Swift Flourish, and maybe a Voltech or Shadowtech Mk II, or a Kamarin as a secondary weapon. Not hard to find all those for around or under 15kcr each.
But yeah, T1 games are sadly few and far between. Evenings and weekends (north american times) are definitely more reliable, but still a bit of a crap shoot.
