Well Ive noticed enough that when playing we all basically end up with near endless 1 star mats that while we can peddle them off for cash I thought of a rather useful system for them.
Now you see many a game today have features for crafting materials you need from other materials now Ill sum up a little example. Say for instance you had tons of Bronze Bolts and you needed just a single Iron Gear, rather then running around the Arcade or Bazzar obegging over the Public Channel fruitlessly for half an hour just to gain one 2 star mat you really need that exact moment and get ignored when you really need one.
What if the game allowed us to go up to an alchemy machine and say do stuff along this sorta line...
Craft:
4-8 Bronze Bolts = 1 Iron Gear
4-8 Iron Gears = 1 Rocket Sprocket
4-8 Rocket Sprocket = 1 Meteor Mote
And then the ability to break down higher star mats into lower level ones
Breakdown:
1 Meteor Mote = 4-8 Rocket Sprocket
1 Rocket Sprocket = 4-8 Iron Gears
And so on, I think it would be a convenient and great system for players to get access to harder to find mats, especially some of the ones that never ever exist in dungeons and you'd usually need valuable tokens to get a hold of.
Please discuss...
**PS dont bring up anything about jeopardizing the game economy, CE and CR sales and players option to sell stuff, cause this games economy is pretty much royally screwed and gets worse everyday. So rather its every man for himself**
The ability to break down items would be nice, too. (For Unique Variants and the like.)
We need more means of materials. Alchemy is limited to only equipments, why not more? After some point, we'd have so many excess materials, we wouldn't be able to do anything with them even if we tried. Hell, we could even have recipes for each item. Of course, the prices won't be as ridiculous/not even half/anywhere near the prices of equipment recipes. like, 50 crowns to convert 1 stars, 100~150 per recipe to make a two star, and then, as high as 1k for 5 stars, etc, etc.
Breaking things or converting stuff we'd never ever use would be nice, too. Hailstone -> Torchstone, or Torchstone -> Hailstone. Conversion examples : With a handful of items, you can turn a Searing Edge into a Shocking Edge.
And, these processes shouldn't cost energy.
