Hello, I'm in 2/3* gear, working on finishing out my 3* -> 4* and I have a question regarding the Quicksilver armor path. I've currently been working on grinding for crowns and stockpiling recipes that I'll possibly need for the next tier. I bought the Quicksilver set (with tokens) and after some lucky buys from basil, I've gotten the Owlite shield recipes.

What I'm curious about though, is the next set of Quicksilver (Charged Quicksilver) viable for Tier 3 stuff? Wearing the set with an Owlite shield?
And as far as swords go, is there one that might be good to use -- maybe temporarily until I get better stuff?

Quicksilver armor is basically a novelty set. The speed buff isn't really noticeable, and the rest is just run of the mill.

If you're a swordie, the default answer would be the wolver line.

Quicksilver gear is best for

Quicksilver gear is best for strata that have Slimes and Beasts, and also nice for Shock themes too. Since you're currently a swordsman though, I would suggest that you go with the Wolver line and go Skolver, if you're looking for piercing defense. I mainly use my Mercurial speedboost to shoot and bomb, so it works fine for me. If you've already committed to Quicksilver though, feel free to continue on with it.

Can't really suggest any swords for you though. That'll depend upon your gameplay preference. Calibur or Brandish lines would probably be easiest though.
