Bleached colors

Ran into a problem last night. When entering Depth 9, one of our group froze up and disconnected and the environment completely bleached out for me. Not certain if the two incidents were connected.

Still having this problem
Both Ananth and I are still running into this bleaching problem in the grassy areas. The environment will randomly completely bleach out, but characters, enemies, and the menus will not.

I'm also having issues with levels (Usually just these green type levels) bleaching out. I'm also running Mac OS on my system, Core i3 530 CPU with nVidia 9800 GT graphics card. The whole game will flicker in and out in these areas sometimes, or just stay bleached out. Also I have problems with flicker in places such as the arcade (but just the floors and such flicker there.)
I ran into this last night. I believe in my case it was on one of the treasure room levels, but same type of area - grassy field etc.
Different machine, but here's specs on mine and Aido's laptops if it helps you determine the cause - it could be a Macbook Pro thing:
