Ever notice how when you say "We'll collect data from this and see if changes need to be made", that, it's like you're basically saying "We'll collect data from this and see if people can settle with our money grab idea." Yeeeeaaaahhhh.

How about, instead of thinking of your diamond-encrusted wallets, you think of the end game people and newcomers this angers.

People will get mad if they think they need to work for it.... Nothing new here, move along.

@StarlinvfOr, people will

@Starlinvf

Or, people will get mad if they have to gamble ridiculous amounts of $$$ to get a single chance for harder-than-Tier 3-endgame-content.

OOO is a business. It is understandable that they would want to try to make a living.

The problem is that they aren't trying to make a living. They're trying to make a killing.

Its a pretty simple

Its a pretty simple concept.... your either going to do it, or not.

Highlights:

-Not for everyone
-People can either spend OR wait for a key to show up
-Gambling and expecting to win is idiotic, yet people still do it
-Complex challenge for end gamers who have nothing else to do
-Blowing through end game content and then compiling about not having enough content
-Can't blow through end game content, and complain about it being too hard

It's their business model.

It's their business model. I'd hate to pull a sheepishly structured Maddader response, but there's really nothing we can do about it.

I feel that all further content will now be manipulated heavily by the CE system, meaning that as more ending material comes out it becomes harder and harder to stay F2P for the poorer T3 players. While some may argue this is a legitimately fair business model, I would have to disagree. I would MUCH rather make a one-time payment or quite possibly even a yearly payment to avoid a system as sinisterly greedy as this. I would most definitely end up spending less money, if anything, let alone being able to access ALL CONTENT at ALL TIMES. If endgame content comes with obtainment mechanics as how I predict them to be, I will probably leave the game once I kill Vanaduke a few times.
