Hullo

I've just recently noticed that starting a run at tier 2 cost me 200 crowns. Being terribly greedy, I wanted to solve that, and understood that I had to do an arcade-moorcroft run on that gate. However, this said gate just got replaced today, and now I still have to pay 200 crowns for all 4 gates.

If ever that gate comes back up (according to the wiki it's possible, but there's a lot of combinations !), will I have to pay again ?

Otherwise, is there a way to "outrun" this fee ?

Hm, I see. I'd say I should run every gate on T1, but I wonder what other people do.

Don't bother. The 200cr fee for going straight to T2 is earned back very quickly. Unless you do like ten runs a day, the amount of money returned by going through T1 first is just not worth it.

Yeah, once you are in 4* & 5*

Yeah, once you are in 4* & 5* gear T1 is a waste of time and money that I would gladly pay 200 or 500 cr to avoid.

If you have friends or

If you have friends or guildies who are near the end of the T1, you can always try to join their party. Ideally, you'd get T2 free access by paying 10 energies for it. Other people do things like have two computer and run an alt to depth 7 (I think...) and then inviting their main, but I'm usually too lazy for either method. If you're careful, the 200 crowns fee (and the T3 fee, once you get there) can be easily made in one or two levels.

sometimes when you know

sometimes when you know you're gonna be running a certain gate, like the RJ or the IMF or FSC gate a lot, you can run the previous tier for that gate when it is first created, this way you get about a week of skipping the fee

for tier 2 you'd save about 1400cr if you ran it every day.
and for tier 3 fsc it'd be ofcourse 3500cr if you did it once a day.

but as others have said by the time you're up to fsc, 500cr isn't that much
