Hello, so im getting DA and wondering if nightblade or faust is better, if you can give me the pros and cons of each one i would appeciate it, thanks.

I like both and use them
I like both and use them equally (but never together, that's just silly.)
If you like the DA style vs the 3-sword style (proto?) then go with GF.
If the DA is too slow for you, go with the acheron.
If you can't live without that knockback on DA swings to keep you safe by a hair's breadth, then go with the GF.
I prefer the acheron charge to the slow GF charge which can curse youself.
Also, since you will eventually upgrade them to 5*, I'm reffering to them as such.

Faust is better for killing
Faust is better for killing jellies since they tend to clump up and Faust's wide arc will mean it hits more targets and does more damage.
Acheron is generally better when dealing with small numbers of gremlins (especially menders), but Faust can win out when the groups get bigger, like in deconstruction zones. Acheron is also better dealing with jelly turrets.

Faust
-Hits more enemies
-Considerable knockback
Nightblade's better for hit and run, Faust's better for crowd control.

Acheron i think is a better sword IF you can get a good CTR reduction.
However, Gran Faust is almost as good. And it is far far superior in PvP. So more versatile.
IMO Acheron is better DPS and better vs slimes if u backpedal and unleash charge attack after charge attack on them. Destroys. Also great for gremlins for same reason. Which actually becomes important in t3 danger rooms, gremlin arenas, and deconstruction zones.

I will ALWAYS prefer faust
I will ALWAYS prefer faust because it curses. People whine that it curses you too but:
1. Only when charged (sometimes curses enemies on 2nd swing without charging)
2. fairly rarely (not every swing, more like 20%)
3. If you have a weapon slot upgrade, which you should, you won't be helpless.
Complete preference bro, neither is better. There's no pro's or con's, one's a 3 swing brandish and the other is a 2 swing heavy sword, it's just whichever style you prefer.
