So, I went to dinner a bit before the patch updates and everything was working fine. Got back on an hour ago and a couple friends were on a party and tried to invite me. I accepted since we always play together and we're candy hunting. My screen goes black and the server kicks me out. I tried to log back on and it said I couldn't connect to the server.
I waited till my knight gets logged off, logged back on and tried again, same black screen and kicked out. So, third time is the charm, right? No. Black screen and kicked out. -.-
Any tips on what should I do? How to reinstall/redownload the new patch or should I just throw my computer out of the window? Or reinstall the full game?

Just an update
I reinstalled SK, so now I can join parties! YAY? No. Ubermegacreepy lag all over the place, being teletransported when I'm not even clicking the arrows to move around. And yes, my internet is working perfectly fine. -.-
Any tips or ideas would be appreciated please.
Edit: I wasn't having chat lag. I was talking to my guild mates all the time. I run SK on low graphics quality, already changed all the regedit stuff the wiki says too.
