So a friend of mine has this problem where the sound gets choppy. I've had this problem in the past but I've fixed it by restarting the game.

However, my friend has tried everything he could do and the sound is still being choppy. I get the same problem when I alt-tab out of the game, but my sound goes back to normal when I alt-tab back to the game. But I'm worried that this problem will happen to me again in the future.

Discuss the choppy sound issue and post solutions if there are any.

I've turned the sound off, and it still causes lag- Music wise, and game wise. I did send in a support request, so I'll post what they say. c:

Same issue

I'm having problems with all audio coming from Spiral Knights too. It sounds like crackling and popping.

I've also been getting the same problem. It was ever since that patch yesterday. The music, sound, and effects would "skip" similar to a record skipping. Sounds would play twice as I attack. The music would play the same notes for a few seconds even when I didn't lag. Even the victory music for completing a gauntlet has been affected. I could ignore this and move on, but it's affecting how I play. It makes me misjudge when I actually attacked, when to defend, and et cetera.

If anyone has some solutions to this problem, I'd really appreciate it.
