I think there should be other methods than energy to play the game, like instead of buying with crowns money ect. add something to the game like an upgrade you must buy. The reason i say this is because the wait time for energy restoration takes a while, and many friends of mine stopped playing the game because of that.

Or maybe since we have three account slots, perhaps each char on your account should have their own ME? Without classes and with you being able to change your knight from just the armor alone, there isn't a lot of incentive to use the other char slots.
Sorry for your friend but the "energy playing" it's a good idea...
