Price check on Wolver Coat shadow high and do you think this is one of the rare or useful uvs out of most armors?

I got a wolver coat uv back to back with crafting a previous wolver coat with double uvs(poison med, curse low), and those are weird odds, but I guess it's because after crafting like 25-30 times I finally got one(guess it's not as worse as one guy that crafted around 25-50 times before finally getting one).

Anyway, I got a shadow high uv, and sold it for 1700 ce, and that is a fair great deal. What do you think. It was worth around 100k cr right? I ended up spending it all just to get a few crappy uvs; a calibur with a ctr low and a wolver coat with freeze low; and I'm still waiting for that maximum armor to come up. I kind of regret selling it, cause it probably could've been relatively useful at the firestorm citadel and was probably the best uv I've had(besides beast vh on a neutralizer, well not really at all, and that was right after I crafted divine avenger back to back. We all know that it doesn't compare to asi or ctr). Anyway, I guess I can inch myself closer to maximum maybe? I lost all 1700 ce which I could've used for other useful things too like trinkets, especially handgun damage or ctr sword bonuses.

Depends on when you sold it,

Depends on when you sold it, shadow max managed to sell for up to 16k ce, highs can be half of a max, so definitely not 1.7k ce, at LEAST 3k.

Damn it, freaking market. I

Damn it, freaking market. I asked around and they said "I don't know maybe 50k cr-100k cr, and I saw one wolver coat with shadow low for 50k or was it medium. I thought I was sure that I was kind of close to the fair value of the uv gear. [crap], I lost. Super quick info. I should've asked first I guess and set up a price at auction and "pray". Anyway, I think I saw you that day at haven 1 around the morning/afternoon asking for the price of the wolver shadow high. I think you were busy cause I saw your "pre-occupied" animation. This is Ranzoh. Can't before I can't use the log in name I chose from the site, but streamlining the game character's status and account with the forum is fine, just wish there was another option until steam accounts work.

If this guy is right

If this guy is right http://forums.spiralknights.com/es/node/30290#comment-180261 then there's no problem as long as you got profit from it.

"When in T3, Max Shadow will do almost nothing to reduce damage taken. For example, Shadow Max on Vog reduces Strata 6 Howlitzer attacks from 7.5 to 7 pips of damage per hit,"

Paying 1700 ce for less than 1 point of damage difference... thanks god people buy without gathering enough info.

The price is not because of

The price is not because of the usefulness so much but also because getting maxes costs a lot. On pvp with the correct testing the uvs can let you survive you more hits and expensive gear :D
