I've came up with a series of questions that can help us find the gear that we truly want. Answer the following questions and I'll help you find your dream gear in no time.

4 - I would love to control crowds but being a swordie its quite hard.So mostly damaging.
5 - Unable to react fast enough to Devilites.Well...any fast moving mob type except wolvers because they are predictable.
6 - Well...the more defense you have,the more health your shield will have too.
7 - Does damage count?I would pick damage.I mostly use 3 swing swords so damage is a problem without damage bonuses.
8 - The ability to work together.You can bring a team of 3* people to FSC if you can work well with them.And a perfect team should have 1 bomber,2 swordies and 1 gunner.
9 - Menders,Silkwings and any type of ranged mob.

So swordie gear is perfect for me and I have that.But just answering this for fun.And no I do not wear a full Vog set to FSC and stuff as most people will assume.

Pile up a lot of monsters and charge attack them using swords( FoV or Glacius )

Poison for most enemies, freeze for trojans :)

70% power 30% speed to interrupt obvious attacks.

One good bomber with graviton/electron bomb and all others doing charged attacks with swords.

Hmmm...
rocket puppies - almost impossible to dodge and does a lot of damage,
greavers - same,
trojans - keep interrupting and have annoying charge.

- What is your favorite weapon type? : After using Twisted Snarble Barb and crafting an ASI med on a Brandish, I fell in love. Swords ftw!

- What is your favorite status effect? : Shock, like freeze and fire at the same time.

- Do you like damaging or controlling crowds? : A little bit of both.

- What is your greatest weakness? : An arena room full of turrets.

- Do you like shields with more health or defense? : I can't tell the difference.

- What is better, speed or power? : I would say speed, but I hate Cutter. I would say power, but I hate Troika. Maybe both, 50/50.

- What makes a good team? : A swordie, a gunslinger and a bomber. Swordie for DPS, gunslinger for Status and Bomber for crowd control.

- Name three monsters that you think should be killed on sight quickly and why. : Any healers, Gremlin Demos, Any turrets and Wolvers. Devilites are just trying to show some love. Don't judge us.

A team that has all knight types (swordsman, gunslinger, bomber).

Healers -- Anything that heals should die ASAP.
Turret monsters -- Arena-wise, these should have priority over anything else because they'll start flooding the floor with bullets.
Devilites -- Whenever its more than 1 or 2, you're asking for trouble. :|

Sort of a mix, really.

- What is your favorite weapon type?
Bombs, if that's what you mean, followed by swords

- What is your favorite status effect?
Curse, then freeze

- Do you like damaging or controlling crowds?
A bit of each. Outright damage is great but I need a good kiting bomb for arenas.

- What is your greatest weakness?
Shadow. I have no shadow defense at all right now

- Do you like shields with more health or defense?
Health IS defense, isn't it? I mean it doesn't really matter. I prefer secondary effects like attack bonuses etc.

- What is better, speed or power?
Balance.

- What makes a good team?
People that know what the heck they're doing, and are aware of their teammates. I can't stand guys who mess up my aim, get in the way, and ignore my attacks.

- Name three monsters that you think should be killed on sight quickly and why.
Devilites: they have speed and range, and are murder in crowds
Gremlin Menders - they're harmless, but can easily support large hordes better than silkwings.
Greavers - they move very quickly and will swarm you and deal unblockable statuses

Gun Puppies, they have ranged attacks.
Gremlin Menders, they can out heal your attacks.
Blight Knights, they appear in about every arena in large numbers.

I like guns the best, as they are safest, though the other two aren't bad and I use them often.

STUN!!! I like the gong noise, though the actual effect needs a bit of a buff imo.

I like to control them. Electron vortex ftw.

- What is your greatest weakness?
Devilites and kats. I'm terrible at them.

I like shields that give me other buffs, like snarby's shield and swiftstrike.

Speed.

People who work together.

Healers should be killed first, they just derp things up, and if you can kill them, DO IT.
Other than that, turrets of any kind are also bad, as they spam continuously.

Is it possible for either/or type of deals? Cause I feel pretty well rounded in some instances.

- Do you like offense, defense or support?

Offense and Support. I'm more aggressive, but try to slow down hoards with my Freezing Atominizer and push back dudes with my Ascended Calibur.

- What is your favorite weapon type?

Oh....this is tough. I'm mostly a fan of average speed swords like the Calibur Series(Pretty much the only sword I used. xD) I also like status bombs too.(Mostly the freezing series.)

- What is your favorite status effect?

Freeze. Gives more time for me and my bros. Not to mention it sets up for some epic beatings from charge strikes.

- Do you like damaging or controlling crowds?

I'm more into damage.

- What is your greatest weakness?

Shock and fiends. Shock is honestly unpredictable at times and fiends just inflict such high damage and in fast speeds too.

- Do you like shields with more health or defense?

Defense. Health is nice and all, but what's the point if the defense is weak to begin with?

- What is better, speed or power?

Power. Fighting can take a toll on someone after awhile. It's better to kill them now, and then to prolong a fight.

- What makes a good team?

Having different "classes" and a good plan first. Classes as in roles for each player. Such as freezing vanaduke in place, while everyone else wreaks havoc on him.

- Name three monsters that you think should be killed on sight quickly and why.

Devilites - These guys hit hard and fast. They have epic range too. And Overtimers are no fun either.

Greavers - More for T3, but still fast and hit hard too. Not to mention the bullets don't help either.

Turrents - I'm playing Spiral Knights, not Touhou! D=< But in all due seriousness, having a bunch of bullets being spread around causes more chaos then necessary.

^Note: I'm really just doing this for fun. =P I just wanted to see how my original plan gear compares to answer of this quiz.

@ "kill the healers"

Instead of rushing in and trying to wtfpwn the healers try thinking outside the box...do none of you know that by poisoning then damaging the other mobs that the healers will actually kill them for you? A well placed poison vial turns a t3 gremlin healing ring into a ring of death...

Like royal jelly palace, last danger room before JK there is a lichen colony & 2 silkwings, so many times I see people trying to kill the silkwings first whilst getting floor spiked to death - poison the colony and kite it with a gun, silkwings kill it for you...wander over and splat the wings without getting holes in your shoes ;-)

Answers List

Life got in the way but I'm back to help you guys out by posting a list of possible answers.

- Offense: Three-Strike swords, Striker Swords, Antigua Handguns, Autoguns, Blaster Handguns

- Defense: Heavy Swords, Bombs, Magnus Handguns, Blaster Handguns, Autoguns

- Support: Bombs, Alchemer Handguns, Pulsar Handguns, Heavy Swords, Blaster Handguns, Antigua handguns

- Status: Look for a weapon that has whatever status effect you chose. Be sure to check alternate crafting paths.

- Crowds: If you like controlling, use bombs that inflict freeze, shock or stun. If you like damaging crowds, use heavy swords and other bombs.

- Weakness: Depending on your weakness, you might want to carry a weapon that's effective against your nemesis.

- Shields: If you want more health, go for an Omega Shell. If you want more defenses, try a Grey Owlite Shield, Volcanic Plate Shield, Ironmight Plate Shield, Barbarous Thorn Shield, Dread Skelly Shield or Crest of Almire.. It all depends on what type of defense you're looking for. Note that the Crest of Almire is very hard to obtain and you need Tier 3 clearance to get it.

- Speed/Power: If you like speed, use fast and versatile weapons. If you like power, use weapons that deal more damage.

- Teamwork: Always work as a team so you may succeed against all odds. Oh, and try not to use energy revives unless it's completely necessary.

- Priorities: Depending on which monsters you listed, those are high priorities for you. Other than focusing on killing them, you have the option to find weapons that are strong against them.

- Armor: If you've answered all of the questions, and have found good weapons and shields, you're almost ready! When it comes to armor, you'll want a set that compliments you and your weapons. It's also possible to be hybrid, especially with module trinkets. But module trinkets aren't necessary unless you really want them.
