Seriously. WHY would you do this? I've never even spoken to this person, yes I do accept every friend request because its not going to "hurt" me in any way (except this obviously) and they might randomly prove useful later on, run dives and such.
Please make friends, please use them whether its asking for runs or recipe checks, or other things, you don't even have to talk to them regularly, but not this .-.
I don't even respond to people that send friend/guild invites without talking to me first. And even then I refuse to add anyone until I've actually gone through a tier with them.

lol it's kind of like the people that friend me just because I'm good at PvP. I've even got a guild invite after I dominated a FFA BN game
lol I do friend people who are good at PVP if they've shown that they're a little funny and might be interesting. It's more than just kill, kill, kill with some people and that makes matches more entertaining. And I expect they might make good people to work in the clockworks with in the future.

i used to make friends with everybody i could. now, i always selete any friend requests i get, unless it is someone i have talked with, done a run with, etc. if someone begs fro money and wants to be my friend, i would report taht guy. there was one guy, i was his friend, and he scammed me 1k cr and something else and before i could ffollow him, he unfriends me. i would never have made friends with him if i knew he was such a loser taht he couldnt even make some money himself.
I don't know what's worst, a friend request begging for money, or a friend request begging to be someone's girlfriend.
I get a lot friend request from out of nowhere, people begging "will you be my girlfriend please?" I'm not unfamiliar with being hit on in an MMO, but using a friend request to do it is the most strangest thing. I have had such requests and I don't see said player anywhere in the nearby area. Unless they like... mass mail people asking. O_O
The only time I accept friend requests is when I'm in the clockworks with people or PvPing. Random invited while I'm in Haven are denied.
Dun see the point in it. ._. Sure, I've met some pretty awesome/funny people on SK, but I really don't see any point in it. People have told me it's "to make the Game better" or "if you need help with certain stuff," but I honestly don't see the point in it. if yer gunna Add me, do it on PSN & have a Copy of LBP2/BF3.
@Rouge-Rogue: Its called the Facebook effect.... can't remember the name used before that, but essentially the concept of a friend or contact list is reduced to the near meaningless farming of contacts, where a person attaches little or no personal value to the individuals, and instead the value is attached to the amount or type of contacts made. In your case "there R no wimmens on tHe interwebs".
And a guy ask me, "Can you lend my 500 crowns?"
I replied, "Yeah, if you trade me 800 CE."
He gasped, "800 CE? Are you crazy?"
I said, "Well, I have 'nut' in my name. And so are you, asking complete strangers to lend you money."

Back to the point, yeah. This happens to me almost every day, I sit around talking with a few friends in front of the AH, and the amount of random Guild Invites and Friend Requests has simply becomes tedious, not to mention the beggars.
