Another danger room video

Got bored in T1 today while punkin farming, so I recorded a video of a danger room. This one is shock themed, consisting of a dog-bone shaped area with a couple of those coloured shatter blocks covering some shock traps.

Enjoy!
Edit: another video, this time a T2 "poison" room, which actually turned out to contain no poison whatsoever

@Rangerwill Thanks! I really enjoy making them, glad to know people like watching them too.

You have a nice voice, and it was interesting to watch at least. :)

Bump for second video (see original post)

Watched both, can safely say that I'm glad I've never run into the dreaded "Gun Puppy Room."
It seems like the gun puppies would be easier to deal with if you destroyed the scuttlebots first, since they would be forcing you to move around as much, but I'm no expert on the matter.

i still haven't figured out how to do that gun puppy room in T3... Actually, there are a few of the new danger room layouts that I just avoid...

I liked the 2nd one better, despite your deaths.
Even with my Divine veil and skolver mix I probably would have died 5 times in there.
I mean with Tier 2 resistance and damage, agaist 50 tier 3 gun puppys WTF?
Nice seeing the Voltedge in action, hope to craft that soon. And are you on a mac? If so, what recording software do you use?
Really enjoyed the video!

They're pretty easy if you think outside the box or are good at 'bullet hell' games.
Either kill the rocket puppies ASAP to get some clear space for dodging, or use them to kill the other puppies. Rockets that hit your shield will explode - doing damage to everything nearby, and setting them on fire. T3 gun puppies also pause right before firing and delay each bullet, letting you scoot in to hit them & weave away.
Btw, for those who haven't tried it, the T3 version's doesn't havent indestructable blocks to hide behind. Can be a nightmare until you're used to it - would recommend just walking back out if you see one unless you have plenty of mist!

Klax, every single one of my T2 danger rooms r the gun puppy box. Its managable in T1, butt hell in T2. Kill scuttlebots first, i agree. And my only gun is a needleshot :(

@Azulflame
Wow, that's brutal... As another player who basically only carries a needle gun, I can imagine what you've gone through. Yikes.

@Rangerwill my primary computing platform is a mac, but I use a wintendo for gaming. If you want to do screen recording on a mac it's built in with Snowleopard and Lion, I believe. I use Dxtory on windows to do my recording, since A: it's pretty badass, and B: it lets me record the game audio and mic on separate tracks so I can mix them to the right levels afterwards.
And yeah, I'm really enjoying my Voltedge.
I didn't kill the scuttlebots first because they're not generally much of a threat to my hp and once the bullets start flying it's nice to have a reasonably safe corner, which means concentrating on the rocket/gun puppies first. There was only a few spots where the scuttles got on the way, and I probably could have killed them a bit earlier in retrospect. I also probably should have used my Voltech Mk II a bit more too, since I had it equipped and somehow managed to completely forget it existed. At some point in the future I'm going to be crafting my kilowatt pulsar into a gigawatt and eventually a polaris and welding it into my 4th weapon slot to deal with gun puppies ones and for all.
All that said, if I was wearing my Miracle set with my Wise Owlite shield I probably could have done it without a revive even with the strategy I was using. I should probably mention that I was heating up a bunch of random misc gear, just in case anyone was wondering about my hilariously inappropriate gear choice for the level (Virulisk armor under the Seraphic costume and Sinister Skelly shield). The Voltedge is only up to level 7 or 8 or something, so it doesn't have the full medium CTR on it yet either.

Either kill the rocket puppies ASAP to get some clear space for dodging, or use them to kill the other puppies.
I've tried using the rockets to kill the gun puppies, but my grey owlite shield tends to break far too quickly.

Are you sure? I sure seem to recall the blocks being there the times I've tried that room in T3.
Kill scuttlebots first, i agree.
I always leave one scuttle bot alive. Since I tend to work from the bottom up, I don't want the next wave to start before I can get back down to the bottom, and killing the last scuttle bot when I'm in position seems to help me. YMMV.

So, I recently did the dreaded gun puppy danger room myself. Except mine was worse than yours. For one, the one I did actually was a poison room, with poison themed scuttlebots (I was in a Wasteworks level). And on top of that, the blocks in this one were the breakable stone blocks.
It did not go well. Not well at all.

adding to the archive :)
Iron Edge depth 24 solo
Edit: not a danger room, but arena. Dunno why i thought they were related. Updated the floor name, thanks Halifix.
That's Iron Edge Arena. Flame Lash Arena is on floor 25. You had some nice rolling of the monster spawns, tho.

@Blueflood good video anyway!
Nice vid. =)
