The game keeps downloading the bugfixes or whenever there is something new and keeps saying "multiple instances of this application's installer is already running. this one will stop and let the another complete" and it never finishes even after 3 days it still says that today
still downloading non-stop
hit ctrl+alt+del and bring up the task manager. Kill all instances of javaw.exe, then try it again.
when i try it again after closing it and opening again it keeps opening the same thing over and over again. i used task manager to close it many times.
Getdown might had botched when it applied the patch..... I would just reinstall the game.
about however long it takes you to download 350MB of data.
If you play directly off the site, just delete the entire C:\Users\Helot\AppData\LocalLow\spiral\ folder, restart your web browser, and use the "play" link to start the download again.
I dunno if I should make a new thread since I'm pretty much havin' the same problem as the OP, but my game is basically redownloadin' itself again and again, and I can't seem to get into the actual game's log in screen.
I'm usin' the Steam version of the game, and I already uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, to no avail. Can someone aid the technologically incompetent here?
Admin Rights? Maybe the patcher can't update the files because of it?
@Alphastevo: If you check the launcher.log file, its probably looping on one of the files. If its one of the txt files, then you have a proxy server interfering the with the patcher. You'll have to use proxify.com to retrieve the 2 files below.
