That's right! You heard right! Spiral Knights Art co. is now ready to serve you. Are work is best as possible and is better then ever! Policy: Prices never exceed 500ce and are occasionally refundable due to misunderstanding. We are open-minded to new ideas such as holiday SK pictures too. Here is a check of list! ACCEPTING CR TOO(negotiable and bargaining)! Also this is NOT graphic art, it is real hard work :D

*Drawing(normal printer paper)-Basic pencil drawing on basic paper(covers everything simple-100ce, 130ce if color scetch-This is not bad rip-off colored pencil colring but usually watercolor pencils making beautiful paintings and maybe even a combination :)

*Better Paper(Finer paper for better pencil strokes) Comes with color if asked! Keep in mind some pictures look better without color and we always provide both non color and color versions if requested!

*Shadows/Shadowing(Shadows for the Spiral Knights Picture and Shadowing effect for Shadow on induvidual character/drawing itself-10ce each, 20ce all)

*Protection for 5ce for better quality image and less smudges in duration of making it

*More options coming soon!

Links for pictures will be mailed in game! I will allow it to distributed so long as you don't re-sell! Free holiday picture will be availiable soon! Prices matches will be available depending on what its matching XD Thanks once again!!!!

Our work is top notch** you might want to edit. an the range of 100CE is not cheap. I have been drawing my whole life, and consider myself an experienced artist, but I wouldn't even charge people for SK art. good-luck with your franchise though.

I would. I just wouldn't charge CE. I think if there's a demand you could get away with charging cash, I mean, I sell my drawing services for cash and have made a fair amount.

You should also give us a sample of your work to show what the buyers would be paying for.

I can do colorings but the thing is I'm going to Alabama for six weeks and the computer there doesn't have flash (my primary program for coloring).

I've done some animations, but once more no flash at that computer.

How much would you be charging for, say...

A colour drawing with the following descriptions:

Vanaduke looking really nasty with his hammer raised, and a skolver-clad knight launching a DA charge, right before the 3 blades fly out? Not too sure about the angle... How about something that brings out the fierceness of Vanaduke, the coolness of the knight and the proness of the DA charge all at once? That'll be really awesome, and I'm willing to pay a fair bit for a high-resolution drawing of it, if it's good quality.

But firstly, I want 2 things:
1) Some samples of your work
2) A price check.

P.S. I'm talking to the post creator, not Wuvvums. It's not nice to hijack someone else's post.

I will be providing samples and be warned this is not my best art. I will say Tayath for 200ce I will check of all or the options as a gift because you are my first customer. Eshan I would say about 200ce just because I'm feeling nice today. Only prob is the color, XD might take a while...I've drawn Vanaduke before though so no worries :) Last but not least Plagurider pleases keep you're(no argument) boasts to yourself XD Thanks and keep in touch on the forums.

Custom Art for CE? Awesome!

I don't see how 100 CE is not cheap. By the least value per $$ package($2.50 for 750 CE), it's a grand total of 33 cents.

I would love to have a sketch of my character and would gladly pay at least 500 CE (if not significantly more) for something neat.

Doom-Dude, send me an in-game mail and we can talk. (I would probably prefer black&white because I like that look usually, but if you feel your work is better in color that would be awesome as well.) My IGN is the same as my username, Malhaku.

Wow, Mentro, that's VERY immature. Artists have to start somewhere and not everyone can be OMG SUPER GREAT at it. And if someone is willing to pay for it then that is fine.

I WOULD advise you rotate the image and not submit your samples sideways. Also, did you take it as a photograph? A scanner will probably make it come through clearer.

Mentro, I must disagree with you.

I personally have a great respect for artists and art in general. You must remember this-to be a great artist is not an overnight thing, it takes years of practice and hard work. Not to mention passion-and maturity (that includes mutual respect)-a quality which you clearly lack. Please be more respectful towards others and their works.

Being an artist is not easy-you are going against societal norms and choosing a (hope you don't mind me saying) less-than-averagely well-paid profession, out of passion and love. That is a quality that we all should respect, and the reason why I respect artists so much.

I think the reason why DD is charging is because he has to put time and effort into art. Sure, perhaps it's not going to be the next picasso, but in art, it's the thought and the passion and the effort that counts, which is why I feel that he deserves my 200CE and much more.

I do not mean to be rude, but please show some maturity-and respect.

A Little Advice

Fellow artist here. :)
@Doomdude: No offense, but IMO you do have some potential for art, though improvements can be made. Maybe it's true that you did just start out, so I'll let that slide for now.
My suggestion though, take a brief glance at the proportions used for the Knights, then base your sketches off those proportions. Alternatively, make your own (but I suggest you start with a stick-figure sketch of whatever you're drawing so you can work them out right).
Alternatively, study each equipment piece you're drawing, and take note of the features of each piece. It'll help tremendously.
Looking forward to your next piece, though I'm not one to buy art. I do sell though, :P
