I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, saving it in another directory, and reinstalling it for least an hour now but I still keep getting this message. Any idea how to solve it?
When I play from the site, it just stucks at 'resolving downloads/validating' at the main screen. When I play it through the downloaded version, I can login but after that it stucks at 'resolving downloads/validating' and gives me the message.
This is the full message - "We are unable to download the necessary files after five attempts. You can try running the application again. If it does not work, you might have to uninstall and reinstall it again."
Your ISP is probably running a web proxy thats interfering with the patcher downloads.

Try and open them in a web browser, and see if it shows up as garbage text or the browser shows an error. If it does, then that verifies the problem.
To get around it, go to http://proxify.com/ and paste the links into the box and hit "proxify". Save the file as either getdown or digest (depending on the link) and copy/replace the files in the SK folder. C:\Users\(username)\AppData\LocalLow\spiral if your using the web launcher.
