I suggest having filter options added next to the sort options of the Auction House.
Optionally a filter can be inverted.

Examples:

• A general filter would be "Time Left". So if you choose "Short" it would only show "Very Short" and "Short", regardless of sort order.
• A filter just for weapons, shields, helmets and armor would be "Variants". It would only show items with the chosen variant (and optionally how strong it is), regardless of sort order.
• A filter for accessories would be "Color Scheme". So when you choose "Regal" only regal colored accessories would show up

That way you will find more easy what you are searching for, instead of turning lots of pages, browsing the results.
