I've been playing SK for a couple weeks now and i still haven't managed to understand the concepts of the shields on terms of the Health and Normal defense parts. I was wondering if anyone would care to explain to me how each is affected and the difference between the two.

The health is how much hits

The health is how much hits in general are required to destroy your shield.

The normal is a resistance against normal damage attacks (there are also shadow, elemental and piercing resistances). It's the most common damage, that's why all shield have it. In T1, mobs do full normal damage, but in T2, it's often half normal half special (shadow, elemental or piercing depending on the mob), and in T3 some mobs do up to 100% special (puppies for example).
