How to know the ideal price of Crystal Energy

I've been doing some number crunching about CE (Crystal Energy) and I've come up with a formula to know how much you should be paying for CE. The Formula is X = X multiplied by 60. For an example, if X = 2, then it would be 2=2 x 60, making 120 crowns. X is how much CE you want by the way. If you didn't understand this, don't worry, I've made a chart for the price of CE from 1-100.

Note: This is using the normal price you'd get for 100 CE (6000)

CE - Crowns
1 = 60
2 = 120
3 = 180
4 = 240
5 = 300
6 = 360
7 = 420

Just trying to help you get a good price for your CE, I'd enjoy some feedback for this, took me a while :3

i have a comment

your equation is mathmatically impossible. x cannot equal x times 60. you need to make this a double variable equation and replace the second x with y.

of course, thats not the feedback you wanted.

Also, why would you take "the

Also, why would you take "the time" to do this?

Basically what you are saying is "whatever amount of CE you want to get, multiply it by 60 and there you go"

I mean seriously if anyone can take the time to come to the forums to find a post about this, he might have just aswell open up the calculator and done X*60 in 1 second.

When I opened this I thought you were going to say some sort of sick mathcrafting about CE price inflation and how to "predict" when the CE market will be lower etc. Not just "hey, CE is usually 60 CR each, so y'know, if you want 10 CE, dont just do 10*60, better come to my thread and find it in the list!".

Not trying to be mean but this seems like an unnecessary waste of your time.

BTW

Thanks for trying to do something for the community. We are just teasing because it ended up kinda silly. But thanks for the effort all the same :)

Not true. Just ask the Prof Farnsworth about Dark Matter, "each pound of which weighs over 10000 pounds".

Huh? Yes it can.

x = 60x
0 = 59x
0 = x

it's just nothing like the method he described. =P

It's just... perhaps not quite as helpful as you had envisioned it being?

@ Delvro

Well, i believe you did the math wrong based on order of operations.
*FIXED*
x=60x
x/x=60x/x
1=60
You have to multiply before subtraction in order of operations (right? that's how i remember it).

I'm pretty sure the above is correct (forgive me if i am wrong, i took algebra 14 years ago, lol).
At any rate, Rommil was saying that was impossible as a formula. And since you cannot divide by zero....

@Razor-Dash: What has math ever done for us any way? Spend 16 years learning it in school, then forget 90% of it because you can't enter it into an Excel Spreadsheet.

I believe the only thing

I believe the only thing wrong with his equation is the lack of units.

X = X * 60 should be CR = CE * 60.

and by the way, kids, you can't divide by x if x = 0 unless given the condition that x =\= 0. Not speaking to you directly, Pawn, just giving a friendly warning in case someone goes back to their Algebra teacher and says, "A game forum taught me you could divide by x so you're wrong!!" ;)

lol

@ Aylnine I said that you could not divide by zero. That was kind of my whole point :)
