Now that Shadow Keys are temporarily available for 1500CE, I wonder if there's money to be made here. For the moment, I think you will be completely unable to sell them, since anyone with the cash can get one, but what about later? Would it be worth it to stockpile Shadow Keys for when they are no longer on sale? I've got to imagine that you could turn a profit, but I wonder if the demand will be there later. What do you think?

they added something to boost, so it'll take a patch to take 'em out (assuming). means you get a small window of warning.

If that is the case. No reason to buy and sell, just take advantage of the stockpile of shadow keys. CE prices jumped 200 cr after patch. Who knows how much further this patch is gonna push the price. All I can tell you, OOO has just screwed up the economy by a huge load. The only way for them to fix it is to lower the drop rate of shadow keys from lockboxes and raise the price on shadow keys until the event ends. This way prices will jump even more on shadow keys and the mats included at the end of the runs. After the event, when shadow keys really are no longer available, the price of shadow keys will rise even further, and CE will drop in price tremendously.

just something that come to my mind. only 2 questions before stockpiling them:
someone already have bought a shadow key and this dont get binded with them? (i think not but... i just want to be sure)
do you think guys at the end of this event OOO would bind all the shadow key got from boost?. because i got this feeling but i hope that im wrong about this one.

Now that they've done it once, It's fairly certain that they'll offer shadow keys for 1500 ce as a promotional event from time to time in the future.

I think they are testing this to find the proper price for shadow keys. I think it is a safe bet that they are currently gather data. There are equations that (given sufficient data) will tell you the optimal price of a product for maximum profit. In the future expect to see the price of shadow key raise (to at least double what it is now) and the price of silver keys falling. The ability to buy shadow keys will reinvigorate the surplus lockbox issue.
depends, its your gamble, theres always demand high or low its different, you only lose if they get readded to the game for LESS than 1500ce. In all other cases you profit or break even.
