im pretty set on working may way through the magic hood series for my first 5-star helm. i'm trying to figure out what my endgoal is.

i also need a good armor to match. im trying to have good defense all around (all damage types)... and i had my eyes set on radiant silvermail, but divine veil appears to clearly be the better of the two. i also like the appearance better, but im guessing its slightly rarer (material wise).

radiant silvermail / grey feather cowl covers some good bases damage type wise, and mild status protection against everything but curse.

but what should i pair with the divine veil.. ideally an armor with good normal and piercing defense. looks my choices would be:

- azure guardian (meh)
- royal jelly
- any of the three 5-star gunslinger series armors (although i dont need the gun bonuses so much)

I really am nowhere with the the armor progression, still havent crafted my elemental hood yet (but im about to).. so should i steer this boat in a completely different direction?
