Lets face it, since the introduction of the attack boosting trinkets, the ones from Brinks appear far less useful.

Sure, they only cost tokens which we get from travelling through the clockworks, but 100 simply for the equivalent a medium uv against various things?

I want to see what people here would think about (at least) slightly increasing the defensive power of the various trinkets that can be purchased from Brinks, to bring their usefulness generally in line with the highly-more-useful attackpower/attackspeed/chargetime trinkets that many players now have.

If we are supposed to use a variety of unusual combinations, to keep us players varied, surely it should be that each variable is of equal use, to prevent people all using one thing. (Somewhat looking at you, Wolver line for swordsmen)

The main issue here is that

The main issue here is that the key to win in this games is dealing damage and AVOIDING being hit, so defense becomes less important.

That's the thing!

I can kill any enemy rather easily, without needing uvs or otherwise attack boosting things. Its just that, occasionally, an enemy (namely devilites, but thats a different story) gets a lucky hit in, and over time, even the best player can fall to it.

All im saying is that, for people that dont need attack boosts, defence boosts should be equally viable!

Im not bad at shielding, or staying alive. In fact, many of my friends on this game know me as the 'survivor' type, because I die far less than them! But a few lucky hits from a really fast or offscreen, or lagboosted attack can still take me out.

It's hard to find the perfect

It's hard to find the perfect equlibrium in defense power between useless and overpowered.
Also , the fact that they are free, not like Krogmo ones......

The tokens arent entirely free

While the tokens dont directly cost crowns or ce, it still takes time and mist/ce to gather 100 tokens, which does take a while considering how often a certain tokens drops.

I dont think the cost really comes in to it, however. A 5* should be equivalent to other 5*s, because otherwise they arent really similar.

If 5* status resistance

If 5* status resistance trinkets gave the equivalent of a max UV I'd probably consider using them. As it is now though, it simply just makes more sense to use armor and then get your ASI out of trinkets.
