Trading Red Rose Set for Steam Games

tl;dr I'm not impressed with Three Rings, so I'm looking to get rid of my Red Rose set.

I'm not looking for CE, SK items, TF2 items or crowns. Just games.

I am valuing the Red Rose Set to start around 50,000ce ($125 @ 2.5 $50:20,000CE packs)

Offers lower than that won't be well considered.

If there are multiple interested parties, I will treat this like an auction, but I doubt this is likely to happen.

I will discount the 'cash value' of the set by a decent chunk since the purchaser likely won't be able to use their existing SK inventories to meet my price.

I will hear offers/bids (if there are any D: ) until Monday October 31st 3 PM EST. (This is largely so that I and whomever might be interested in this offer can take advantage of the Steam Halloween Sale)

The bundle of games I'm interested (All prices in USD, if you live in a foreign country, something could be arranged but I will not discuss this further on the forums. Leave an email address in your forum post and that you are interested and we'll go from there.)

Modern Warfare 3 Pre-Order $60
Dungeon Defenders $15 *
Dead Space Pack $15 *
Dungeons Steam Special Edition $10 *
Current Value: $100 (this is the discount I was talking about)
*These items are currently discounted through the Halloween Sale.

If you do want to 'bid' higher, just state it in the total dollar value of what you'll spend through Steam.

And just in case there's anyone really crazy out there, $200 worth of Steam content would constitute a Buy Out price in my books.

Take care and sorry for the wall of text.

PS: Not splitting the set. I'll just hold off and keep trying to sell it.

You will be hard pressed to

You will be hard pressed to find any buyers who are willing to take the rate of $50 - 20,000 ce. Not just because of the reason one can get a free account which generates 100mist by buying 20,000ce at the SAME price. The rate which recent deals go for is much, much lower.

Considering the name of your

Considering the name of your forum account, I'm really not going to lend your argument significant weight. I tracked down a hand full of private sales and if I was willing to take CE, I could more than likely get 60,000 CE for an item set that is in finite non-renewable quantities, by the end of tomorrow night.

However, I am not interested in a second set of transactions to turn existing CE into the steam games. So I'm offering the set at a discount of it's marketable value (I have someone who will take it off my hands for 50k CE this upcoming Friday if I don't sell it and decide I want to go through the trouble of trading CE for games)

So you're right, people could do that. But that means managing multiple logins and if the mist isn't used on a semi regular basis, they might as well have just skipped establishing a new account.

tl;dr: If you are not presenting an offer or asking a question, please refrain from posting. Free bumps are awesome, but I would prefer to keep clutter to a minimum

(tracked down a hand full of private sales)

Rightttttttttt whatever you said is absolutely true.

(I could more than likely get 60,000 CE for an item set that is in finite non-renewable quantities, by the end of tomorrow night.)

Image taken after the Accessories patch, item falls 1m crown in value. Just so you know, Accessories and Shadow Lair patch drastically increase the options you can customize your characters uniquely.

(I have someone who will take it off my hands for 50k CE this upcoming Friday if I don't sell it and decide I want to go through the trouble of trading CE for games)

Then I am only sad to see a fool buying into your promotion. Pot calling the kettle black, have to say you did an excellent job to find a foolish buyer. I also like the fact your poor attempt to evading my core argument.

Of course the accessories and

Of course the accessories and Shadow Lair patch offers people new options to customize their character.

It does not however afford them access to Generation 1 Rose Regalia Costume Pieces. The Red, Black and White Rose Regalia costume sets were released prior to the Steam integration. The playerbase was far smaller at the time so there were fewer Gen1 Rose Regalia pieces introduced into the population.

Shadow Lair gear, accessories, just a matter of patience, there's always new ones entering the market.

A complete Red Rose set? Sure there are people like me who have stock piled, but a lot are waiting for prices to go higher, some have stopped playing, others have equipped the sets they were holding onto.

But someone who came after the first regalia event/Steam integration? The only place you're getting a Red, Black or White costume piece/set is from another player. Not from Three Rings Design.

Thus the premium price.
