actually the forum is really

actually the forum is really barebones, and I wonder if thats by design or not. no avatars, no profiles, no options, no signatures, nothing tied to your game stats.. etc etc. there should be more to it than there currently is.

Let me put it in simple terms...
This forum was sorta custom made, it's not like vBulletin or other forums, it doesn't have as many functionalities as you'd hope for.

That doesn't excuse it

Sure the forum may be custom made, but that doesn't really excuse the lack of very common, expected functions.

Why not switch it to a full featured one such a vBulletin? I for one believe it would only help strengthen the community, and here is why.

I know that in the past few days I have posted in many conversations. But by the time I get back on the next day or so, there are many new topics and things have been shifted around a bit. I for one am not usually in the mood to sift through all the different posts, not to mention remember all the ones that I posted in, in order to respond to new comments. So therefore my contribution to the dialog disappears. I can't be the only person this happens with.
Here are some features that would greatly improve the forums

1. A "View Your Posts" button that lists everything you have posted in so you can quickly see which conversations you are a part of have been updated.

2. PMs -nuff said.

Well, actually that is all I can think of. I don't usually use a lot of the features that are available, but those two are super important IMO to have a forum that REALLY thrives.

Any other inputs?
