First try. Really a bad example.
It was hard and lag. (and my skill need to improve)

I used fraps to record, note that Fraps DIDN'T cause the lag. I used separately core to run spiral knights and fraps.

That doesn't look fun at all, especially with the given connection latency shown in the video.

It seems like maps like the video shown are tailored for North America users, until OOO setup servers in Europe and far east countries.

I'd have to agree. There's a difference between facing a challenge and getting your butt handed to you every moment. It's hard in the sense that the players are dropping like flies, but what strategy is there to counter that?

(in before some expert player says you're doing it wrong)

Well, you don't have to play it. If you don't have the connection to do the end-game content, stick with other content or quit.

I find most rooms in the last two levels to be pretty easy. The most annoying room imo is the one on the bridge.

I find every room except for the one on the bridge to be much easier than the one on the bridge.
Especially the last room before vanaduke.

At least, they are way too easy compared to their snarbolax/jelly/red rover counter part rooms, which are much harder than the bosses, and sometimes harder than fsc

This room becomes easy using totem to block howlitzers., our guild member only use 10+20 energy for reviving on the second run.

FSC isn't the hardest.

Eh

The only rooms I find truly difficult are the one with the spikes in a circle around you during last wave, and the last one before Duke during last wave. The last one of the first floor is also pretty annoying.
I hate slag guards in small trapped areas.

I really think UIMF is harder than UFSC.

Only the first level really. And because it lags.

If this is easy then I'd hate to see what's hard.

I also wonder if the typical end-game player could make it through this alright. It looks frustratingly difficult.

Eh

Shiver is a given, it's more about proper coordination of the guys who pulled aggro from the slags & trojan.
Which is kind of tricky, more so when you're not in voice chat with your party.

Most people agree that the

Most people agree that the Shadow Lairs Vanna FSC has two hard parts:

1: Depth 24 Last Room
2. Last room which you vid.

Looking at small clips of your video does seem like you guys had difficulty towards the last wave, but if you call that being easy by that performance I guess my view of easy is no one dying at all, and not using any Ce on revives. Regardless, seems like your party did well down there.

*Would like to add that the easiness ratio in my view also comes up how early all of your party mates recieves some sort of pill and +21 vita's.*

@Njthug
We always play from d18, we had 10+ pills, that;s why we didn't use any ce to revive before the last room.

(why sk only support single core?....)

@Lightee: Blame Java, not

@Lightee: Blame Java, not SK/OOO for that last question.
This (and my poor latency as a punishment for living in the other side of the world (Greece)) is why I have problems even on normal Vanaduke - the hit being registered before the attack animation plays doesn't help you keep control of your health level.

"1: Depth 24 Last Room" I

"1: Depth 24 Last Room"

I wouldn't compare that to the final room. 2 trojans and a deadnaught plus two turrets =/= 2 deadnaughts, trojan, 2 turrets, and a dozen carnavons.

D24 last room is definitely a challenge, but not nearly as challenging as many of the other encounters. I would put the spiked room on D26 above D24 in terms of challenge.

@khamsin

That room is not on my hard list (But I do agree its a fun challenge) since I done it with no ce rev's at all try this out:

1 to 2 shivers

1 Nitro

People Freeze and the nitro clears the path for your team to just gun and DA spec the monsters to death. When the Trojans and Slags show up its a bit harder thats when you have the nitro turn into a shiver user.

D24 is trivial when you use

D24 is trivial when you use shivers. You've got 3 enemies. With 2 shivers (one good shiver can actually control two enemies), that leaves two of your party members to kill one trojan at a time.

Probably the only reason D24 end is that tough is because you aren't warmed up yet. By the time you fight that spike room, you're actually on the ball using shivers and what-not. In terms of actual challenge though, the D26 spike room encounter is tougher.
