I'm pretty sure that's illegal if your plan is to transmit the game files over the Internet for others to download and put onto unauthorised flash cards.

@niichi - if it's a rom.. it's legal - IF you have the original game and only intend to use the rom as an electronic backup copy.

Well, *actually*, that's pretty much not true. As far as I know, that's just an often circulated statement which has no basis in law. However, regardless, this is definitely not "completly [sic] legal", so I assume this thread will hit the Graveyard faster than the Celtic Guardian did in episode 33 of Yu-Gi-Oh.

actually i aquired all these games legally by legally buying them in a legal store so........im pretty sure its legal. also, why are people allowed to sell other games like fallout or battlefield then?
