I just bought a Faust with bonus damage vs undead very high UV.
I payed 250000 crowns for it, Was it worth it and is this UV any good on the Faust ?

Nope.
It is no good. Sorry. Since the Faust is terrible against undead already, this UV doesn't help at all. You got a little ripped off.

Sorry, but undead (and fiends) resist about 80% of shadow damage, which is half of Faust's damage. Hence the damage that Faust does against undead and fiends is about 60% of the damage that it does against beasts or constructs. For this reason, you don't use Faust against undead and fiends. For this reason, an undead UV on a Faust is pretty worthless.
If you haven't already, I suggest that you read the wiki page on Damage.

Building on this, a very high UV is about +28%. So instead of doing 40% less damage to undead, this sword does 23% less. Which makes it slightly less terrible to swing everywhere if you're in the middle of a bunch of zombies and lichens, or something. But it's definitely not worth much.

thx carabin thats explained it pretty well for me, i think i'm gonna keep it this way becouse its my only sword atm.
Unless it negates the resistance undead normally have to faust, it's gonna be pretty much useless.
