Skolver Set or Skolver Cap and Radiant Silvermail?
Please I need guide.

What is Better for Rabbid Snarbolax Shadow Lair?
I used Mercurial Helm with Radiant Silvermail as I don't yet have a Skolver Cap. It worked quite well. Just be extremely cautious of the Lumbers milling about.
I'm in the process of preparing for my first Shadow Lair trip, so I've been reading up. Perhaps someone can verify this more detailed information.
It's basically a poison-themed stratum with no gremlins or fiends (other than silkwings). The only constructs are lumbers and retrodes. There are tons of beasts, undead, and slimes.
Elemental damage comes only from lumbers and from the ranged attacks of retrodes. This explains Culture's comment. There is a lot of piercing and shadow damage. So you need normal, piercing, shadow, and poison protection. Radiant Silvermail seems great. I'm planning on wearing Armor of the Fallen. (I won't curse myself, and there are no fiends, so no problems with it at all?) I'll also wear Skolver Cap and Barbarous Thorn Shield. Is this armor setup okay? I also have Skolver Coat, Deadshot Mantle, and Divine Veil.
Most of the monsters are vulnerable to elemental or piercing. The only shadow-vulnerable monsters are slimes. I plan to take (A) either Divine Avenger or Glacius, (B) Barbarous Thorn Blade, and (C) either Acheron or Gran Faust. Is this weapon setup okay? Others in my party will supply Shivermist Buster and guns.
Bopp, you have several things wrong.
First, a reminder : the shadow snarby trip consist of 2 snarby levels, the boss level, and the unknown passage. The unknown passage is different than previous levels, as you have more diversity and, more importantly, you can change your gear whenever you want in it.
For unkown passage, as there are every damage type represented (lumbers for elemental, slimes for piercing, zombies for shadow, gremlins for full normal) you'll need a balanced armor and every damage type (or normal weapons).
The 2 snarby levels are entirely poisoned themed. They consists in lots of wolvers and undeads (zombies, kats and turrets), and some lumbers and silkwings to compliment them. There are no retrode or slimes at all in those levels, so you shouldn't bring any shadow damage weapon.
Your armor setup seems ok Bopp, except for the shield. I used this one successfully (because I don't have any other piercing shield anyway), but it breaks really fast. If possible, I guess the extra defense from Ironmight or Aegis would be worth the loss of medium sword damage. Sadly, there is no other poison resist shield than Skelly, but it could be an option.
As for weapons, a BTB or flourish line is mandatory, and so is an elemental sword (for swordsmen obviously). If you bring some more weapons, I strongly advise Shiver and Polaris. 2 shiver in the party is good to have a better lock in arena type areas, and there are tons of turrets (and respawning ones) to take down with a Polaris. Also, with a good shiverlock, Polaris knockback become a non-issue against other mob.
Thanks for your help, Fradow. If you could correct/clarify/expand the information on the Shadow GWW wiki page, you would be helping a lot of people. For example, it says that Toxigels are in GWW. And the Unknown Passage wiki page is also woefully incomplete.
(Ordinarily, I prefer to experience new content without reading up too much on it, so that it is appropriately surprising. But a Shadow Lair trip costs so much, that I want to go in prepared.)
@ Fradow
I already have both Snarbolax Shield and Dread Skelly Shield, I suppose that Skelly is way better, right? Are there only shadow turrets or also polyps? Thanks.
There are only Howlitzers (Shadow Turrets.)
BTS or Dread Skelly Shield are both good choices for Ult Snarby. I actually lean toward Dread a bit just because it is better at blocking howlitzer and kat projectiles. Both are quite viable though, just be careful around the opposing enemy type.
For armors you really only need Piercing/Shadow. Zombies/Snarby does some Normal and Lumbers to a lot of Elemental, but those things can (or must) be dodged. I think that armor like Skolver Cap/Radiant Silvermail or Dread Skelly Mask/Radiant Silvermail would be optimal options. Even pure Skolver or pure Dread Skelly are completely viable.
Once in the Shadow Lair you have all damage types and many monster types to deal with. But 90% of your time is going to be in the boss strata, not in the Lair. And the Lair isn't comparatively hard. I'd just gear for the boss then deal with the Lair.
2 x Shivermist and 2 x Polaris is going to make it so much easier. You don't need everyone with Shiver or everyone with Polaris to do well though. My weapons were:
DA
Final Flourish
Shivermist
Stagger Storm (causes alphas to only bite once)
Culture, just to clarify, when you say "Once in the Shadow Lair.." you mean "Once in the Unknown Passage...", right?
is this set good for Shadow Snarby run?
Skolver set
Dread Skelly
BTB
DA
Polaris
You need shadow and poison defense. There is no question. Get the Radiant Silvermail.
