Hello, I can no longer boot the game on my computer after making some GFX changes.

I upgraded my 5770 CF, to 6870 CF setup, unfortunately one of the 6870s had some mem issues, so now I am just running a single 6870 (which has been running BF3 fine) but the SK client wont load. When it tries to load it crashes with the windows error: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" etc...

As for my drivers, before I took the duff 6870 I updated the drivers to 11.0 preview 3 driver, ensuring all previous drivers were removed.

I think you mean the 11.10 Preview 3? I'd toss out the Preview driver and go straight for the 11.10 mainstream release from yesterday. Also try disabling triple buffering and setting the Catalyst A.I. to whatever the lower (more left?) setting is.

I did ye, 11.10 p3 - didnt notice the new 11.10 release so got that and am working fine again! Thanks for the headsup!

Also, this is probably old news now, but I didnt notice any speed increase using CF at all in SK. Infact I have to keep my client running low - medium settings and even then I get about 30-40 FPS. BF3 however, never dropping below 60 FPS with one card doing all sorts of stuff on one/two cards.

Thanks again for the the help.

Since AMD has not published a Crossfire profile for SK the system will default to scissor mode or just render on a single GPU. In any case, your GPU is not the cause of the low framerate. The Java VM seems to only work fast enough to produce so many frames per second, even when given huge resources.
