Well i dont know where to post this but its about the halloween event... i spent over 6 hours trying to get these candys for the masks and stuff because they looked cool. i have a job and i attend school, i did the runescape event in 2 hours ... i dont think its fair that i did all that work and i couldnt finish last night due to lack of energy to go into dungens... i think it would be amazing if i was to somehow get those masks in exchange for the candy i have. i really did try but i ither didnt have the time... or i had too much time and i wasnt able to get to the dungens. i tried doing a whole tier 1 run and just repeating the first floor of tier one and i couldnt get it.

*please excuse my poor spelling i just got off work and i wanted to post this and hope i can get the items because i do enjoy the game.

Well sorry about that Xemp but the event ended. It was a little stressful since the event started at mid-October, but now the event is gone and the candy is useless. But anyway, what was the help you wanted?

well all i wanted really was those masks :( i wanted the spookat one and i kinda gave my hope up so i guess its back to league of legends !

All players were given 2

All players were given 2 weeks to gather the candies. I spent about 1 week doing one run everyday in a gate with lots of clockwork levels, and got all the authentic masks (75 candies). If you have crowns to spare you can visit the vendor near the fountain and buy candies instead.

These are all vanity items. Not getting them won't hurt. If your urge to have them is so strong, then you can pay for them (buy CE, trade to crowns, buy candies).

Frankly I think the authentic masks don't look very nice. I'd rather keep the paper ones. Those are cute.

well the paper ones had an expirie date, and i started about just over a week ago. ive been only doing the event ever sence. used my 100 mist to do 20 more floors hopeing for the floor. i didnt have 10k per candy to spend and im not going to go around begging for an extra 200k because thats prety much how much ide of needed for this, i am not going to pay real money because they cant help me out. i was considering buying CE for the trippy looking bomb mask. in any case i think im done here thanks anyway at least in a few days mw3 is going to be out that'l be fun

Well, if you have a guild it could go faster. My guildies and some friends helped me get candy fast by inviting each other whenever we saw punkin. It was faster and soon enough the masks could be traded from candy. I guess its all about teamwork or something (sorry about the partial sentences, a little tired)

You missed the great gates on the first week!

Xemp you missed some great gates for candy farming... on the first day the event came out, there's a gate where you have 6 levels with clockwork maps on T2... 6 chances for candies plus T2's crown/heat/mat. I ran that one once everyday until it was replaced. There's also one (Iron Serpent IIRC) where there is a clockwork map on the first level which you can do over and over again.

I started those runs solo, and sent thru guild chat "CANDIES!" whenever I saw it, so my guild mates could jump in for one level. I got a lot of punkin kings back then... almost 90% of the time.

After those two went away the new gates aren't so full of clockworks anymore. IIRC the last Roarmulus twins gate was still pretty decent, if you skip the boss levels.

there were a lot of good t1 gear gates too.

this was not a one day style event for us f2p folks, it was a over 2 weeks style event, I did it in 4 days IIRC, would have been 5 but I knew i was getting abducted for cheep labor and would only have laptop access (which chugs like crazy in SK), so I busted a mist tank to esentialy get an extra day. I will tell you though my encounter rate at the end was non existant, freeking pumkin king was trolling me for my last 4 sweet candies.

But yeah, 10e per encounter, 10 candy per encounter (on rare ocasions it would be less though), and 75 per authentic, means 230e of delving if you get the pumking every time. Put in the fact that you are unlikely to have perfect delving, and non equal candy devision (I got about 50% more hard and 20% more sour candy than sweet) and you are looking at 300-400 energy.

Also i agree with evilnut, I liked the paper and imitation masks more than authentic.
