With my Vog cap UV shock high + Mercurial Armor, I don't feel Voltaic Tempest users at all, yet pulsar shots shock me sometimes.
I guess this is because the bomb has minor shock and the gun has moderate Shock.

Will a another UV on the armor (or upgrading the Cap to maximun) make me completely Invun. to shock?
What type of shock does traps and monsters cause?
Also is there a way to get the same shock resistance of a Mercurial as an UV on a wolver coat?

Double max shock on a skolver

Double max shock on a skolver set uv still gets you shock by polaris, think it's only 3 second though.

This is just a guess:Let's

Warning: Pure guesswork ahead

Let's say moderate shock = 2x minor shock

100% minor shock resistance = max (4 units) + high (3units) shock resistance buffs
The units I use is based on the fact that UV resistance goes from low, med, high to max. Med appears to be half of a max, so go figure.

You will need 14 "units" of shock resistance:
Mercurial helm + armor = 8
Max shock + max shock UV's = 8

In theory, this should get you to be immune. But... honestly, who does that? This set sounds awful for general LD use. Also, shivermist is now a bigger issue for you.

OR, you could get:
Skolver set w/ max uv's = 8
2x Wyrmwood Bracelets (reportedly equivalent to a high uv) = 6

This sounds more realistic. You could try asking someone who has max shock uv's to put on two wyrmwood bracelets and try.. but.. this is likely not worth the cost for something that is PURE guesswork. Also, this would be a waste of trinket space.

If that doesn't work, then do the mercurial set 2/ shock uv's & 2 Wyrmwood bracelets.
