What genre/type of games are you guys into? This is my first time playing a massive multiplayer online (MMO) game. Other genres I play include music/rhythm, role playing games (RPG).
Some of them are:
RPG:
1. Super Mario RPG
2. Final Fantasy series
3. Chrono trigger
Music/rhythm:
1. Dance Dance Revolution (DDR)
2.Osu/Ouendan
3. Tap Tap Revenge (TTR)
4. Hatsune Miku: project Diva series
MMO:
1.Spiral Knights
These are some but I have more.
RPG:
Tales of Symphonia - Really, you haven't played this game yet, be sure to do so. It's really awesome in music, plot, and dialogue.
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor and Strange Journey(These are two different games, just from the same series.) - They're kinda like pokemon, but with demons/gods from various cultures instead and no real multiplayer aspect. Devil Survivor is more of a turnbase strategy game, while Strange Journey is like a dungeon crawler rpg.
Action:
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword - I admit, the control scheme isn't perfect, and often registers a jump instead of a slash, not to mention holding your DS in a particular fashion is kinda uncomfortable. Even all that, it's fairly challenging game with an ok story line.
Castlevania series - It feels kinda lagging over the years, but some of the games are still pretty fun to play. The newer ones even have more diversity in weapons. And the music...words cannot the describe how epic the soundtrack can be at times. And nice visuals too.(Note: this is really refering to the Nintendo portable games and NES games, I haven't tried Lord of shadows and Judgment, while fun, wasn't really much of a castlevania game. :()

Those are just some ideas of what the sound track is like. :)
First-person Shooter:
Team Fortress 2 - Free to play, a fair variety of different modes of game-play. The classes are all fairly balance, and each offer a fairly unique play-style. The art style is full of win too.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes - Freakin loved this game. Nice visuals for an older game, a good variety of enemies, a fairly hard challenge, the Dark Levels have good atmosphere. And the weapons are pretty awesome too. ;)
Puzzle:
Meteos - Kinda has a Bejewled and Tetris feel to it. The sound track is rockin, and the art design is pretty nice too.
There's many more, but these are the most prominate ones.
